Its a meme at this point that makes send in traditional markets, but for btc that trades 24/7 on endless exchanges, it doesn't need to be touched ever.

Furthermore if you look at the CME chart you'll see the wick touched it already when markets were open. For some reason newbies think the entire "gap" has to be pierced, but even in traditional it merely needs to tap it. Which it already did.

Its a spot where liquidity is trapped, so you can see why markets want to go to those zones, but what also isn't said is that in traditional, these gaps sometimes take YEARs before they get filled, not always across every product. But reddit is the master of low IQ setups, they've latched onto gaps thinking its an edge they can trade.
