Do you actually have to lie, cheat, steal, manipulate, gaslight and push people to submission to be on top?

Is there any way to gain power through righteousness? Or do you need to be Machiavellian to other Machiavellian people and spare the 'good' ones?

I used to be kind and warm to people, even to strangers then I realised i've been shat on regardless of how truthful, honorable and kind I was. I put a stop to that and trained myself to cut off emotions, since then I've been lying, cheating and taking from those lesser than me including my closest relatives who love their little anon

These are questions I’ve struggled with as well and it does seem very much as though one needs to set aside things like morals and ethics to rise in the system as it stands. Even if one is able to maintain one’s moral integrity during the rise, power eventually seems to corrupt everyone. Sociopaths seem able to navigate the paths to wealth and power much more easily than honest, moral people

If you live a righteous life, you'll feel rewarded in your self before you die.

If you lie, cheat, steal, manipulate, gaslight and push people to submission to be on top then you'll have a lot of amazing moments in life but destroy yourself mentally and emotionally.

Read 48 Laws of Power. Pretty much teaches you how to be respected in the work environment. It's an extremely popular book among elites so it has been proven to work.

You need to be a dick to get shit done. You also need to prove to people why you are important. If people forget why they need you, then that means you can easily be replaced.

This is what I'm thinking about when I ask the question. I've listened to Robert Greene talk before.

The way I see it is there are 4 main categories of people:

1. The Gray Stock: People that arent necessarily submissive or aggressive. They can bend either way depending on the situation. They can rise up to any of the next 3 groups

2. The Helpers: People that will never be aggressive and will always be submissive. They might be middle managers or workers, but they will always know their place is under someone else

3. The Machiavelli / The Faceless: People that will manipulate, cheat, steal, gaslight to get what they want. They have no allegiance to anyone but themselves. Aka Satanists

4. The Righteous / The Blessed: People that recognize their power over others and know the right situations to be forceful and the right situations to give lenience. Marcus Aurelius

Be warned that socipaths eventually lose everything they have built in terms of relationships because all of the lies come crashing down like every 5 years or so, this may apply to you depending on the situation.

It's very simple. If you help people, they want you to succeed. This is the core of voluntarism.

1. All agreements must be mutually beneficial.
2. Do not initiate force

With force defined as the intentional removal of personal choice through manipulation, threats or violence.

Screenshot this post and try to follow it. I'm a millionaire thanks to this ideology. It is based on the works of Tesla, Socrates and Epictitus, who said be the best you. If you are a ruler, be the best ruler. If you are a slave, be the best slave. You can be better if you stop thinking and start acting.

I make about 100usd take home, but I'm from UK.

I have real friends, but only a few. You find that the vast majority of relationships are built on the goal going forward.

Anybody who has run anything Community wise, online or real-life probs understands that's nearly everybody eventually backstab you in some way. Especially once they see how filthy rich you are getting whilst everyone else is volunteering.

You have to quite, self-centred and just sometimes have to do things that most normies would see as "unfair" or "there is another way."
You win or you lose, its always that way. Running a business, anything. Even if your a wage slave its true.

I ran a group of traders/early adopters with roughly a 1000 people in it for a year, everyone made money and was very happy. We mostly just looked for interesting startups like Waves, Orion Protocol, DIA and thousands of others. We only chose projects that aren't speculative, have real world use cases and the connections needed for adoption. I still talk to maybe 30 of these guys whenever we feel like it, but everyone has fond memories of that time. We had one rule, don't be boring. Flame wars were normal and we had fun. Well, if you assume all the risks and maintain the servers then you simply deserve the money to begin with. You should reward your people though, even if it's symbolic to let them know you appreciate them. Maybe host some competitions with prize money. How much money do you really need to get by? You should try the whole voluntarism thing outlined above for a while, see what happens. You'd be surprised. Don't let them take advantage of you, but reward those who do what you want well and they'll start doing even more work.

Yes, we have over 100 volunteer staff.
The thinking is that, if members are motivated by motivation for the group collective, then the loyalty of those members under stress is greater than financial incentive.

Money always corrupted/leads to issues whenever I try it surprisingly. I mean I guess its cause we are all 16-25 gamers.

I pay developers, that is about it.

Being able to remain number one in the EU, whilst only paying yourself I think instills a sense of untouchability which helps a lot from keeping ppl trying to to a quick one on you. Of course, I am far from infallible in reality. Would be very easy to remove really.
