I have 2000 SXP staked on-chain. Was thinking of getting the 3000 SXP card but you are forced to market sell your crypto when doing transactions on the card. No way of simply using USD or stablecoins to fund the purchases. SXP card stake has a lower staking reward than CRO. 12% vs. 16-18%. CRO stake also gets you amazing staking rates for other crypto. 8.5% on btc, 14% on stablecoins.

I would be selling SXP low and buying CRO high if I got in. It looks like an interesting card to have for the private jet access maybe. The lowest tier doesn't look interesting at all. I don't have the money right now. A lot depends on how much crypto.com is going to shill it because aren't they not as big as Binance? I was comparing card stake rewards.
On-chain SXP is currently ~28% which is better. Max you can get for CRO is 20% on the exchange. I'll probably keep accumulating SXP while it's low but not having any fiat options or funding the card will keep me from getting one any time soon. I'd need to pay more on capital gains taxes than I would get as cashback because Swipe forces you to use crypto.

The credit card companies and airlines pull lounge access all the time. It's not a deciding factor. Personally I don't even use the lounge unless I have a 6 hour layover which for me is always on a flight where I get lounge access with the ticket. Speaking of flying, one thing I don't like about these cards is if I use this instead of my Amex, I'm not getting any miles. Paying with miles is sometimes cheaper than paying with cash, especially when you transfer your points to partner airlines. Using these crypto cards doesn't help me earn status except on planet tickets.

On a more serious note though, cards have been out for many years now. No reason to keep building a world class product only to exit scam. They could have done that a long long time ago.

CDC cards take ages to arrive, but Swipe sent me the saffron instead of sky blue. Support were pretty useless and had to forward it to the technical team. Still waiting for them to get back to me.
