There's a happy end though. I suicide yolo'd into OMG in beginning of august 2017 and I made a 12x. Was able to buy a house (pic related since it bought me the house where it's standing in).

I then bought 10k chainlink for 0.17 cents. Not with my gains because that all went to my home, but with new money earned from wageslaving, and I have been holding them ever since.

I also hold some other coins and am now worth around 300k :)

I remember seeing discussion about the top market caps in the future and someone saying something like "BTC and ETH have always been 1&2, always will be" But XRP had literally been in the rank 2 spot like a few months beforehand in late 2018.
