Unfortunately we're looking at a decade minimum before LINK hits 1k. Most anons on /biz/ have about 10k. That means most anons need at least 500 dollar per link to retire and live modestly (5 million). 1000 (10 million) would let them live a bit more lavishly but they'd have to wait a decade for it at which point the best years of their lives are gone.

If you think we are hitting 1k before 2020 you are delusional. With 1 billion tokens the only way it gets driven that high is by actual usage. Speculation can not pump LINK to 1k per token. Actual usage is coming, but it's going to be a slow ramp up not something that happens overnight.

So yes, expect to wait at least 10 years for 1k USD per LINK. Ironically, once it is as that point it'll be a faster move to hit 2k than it was to hit 1k.
