This. It's a step-by-step retard-proof guide. For an even easier mode get a Ledger Nano. Literally takes less than 2 minutes with Nano.

>>22033320
It will probably open at a fraction of a cent, but I can see it at $0.30 very quickly. After that, the sky is the limit.

Keep in mind that you will likely get more than a 1:1 ratio, since Flare won't be distributing to exchanges that do not wish to participate. Those stacks will go to XRP holders instead, divided equally.

50,000 XRP right now will retire you by Christmas this year.

I think you need to read the whitepaper. It is designed to be the EXACT SAME PRICE AS XRP held 1:1 by promoting arbitrage between xrp/fxrp. In order to get fxrp it needs to be BACKED BY YOUR XRP. You have to SEND your xrp to a contract to receive it. I can't believe I am wasting my time explaining this. Read the whitepaper.

If you have a Nano, all that you are doing is linking your XRP account to your ETH account by signing a transaction for verification purposes. Your private keys are never exposed, therefore there is zero chance of any shenanigans at all.

On top of that Weitse Wind is one of the most trustworthy individuals out there, and is personally vouched for not only by Flair team, but by Ripple team as well.

You are 100% safe.

Also, XUMM does no store any of your crypto. It is a non-custodial wallet. You are a lot more vulnerable trusting Bitrue with your shit.

At the end of the day this is your choice.

At no point are you exposing your private keys. You are perfectly safe, unless you introduce some risk by moving your tokens to an exchange. You also reduce your privacy to a certain degree by linking your XRP and ETH accounts. Use a burner ETH account to mitigate that.

Yes. a 2-week notice will be given. By the way, Ripple fully supports Flare. Flare is one of projects that Ripple's Xpring invested in.

>Goymbase will probably keep your tokens and then give you a shit time to get them from them.
If Coinbase does not announce their initial support for Flare, no Spark tokens will be sent to Coinbase at all. Flare does not want exchanges to get free shit for nothing.

>>22034450

How do you do it with a Nano X? I was looking around today, and the only way I could find was by signing an AccountSet transaction manually using a javascript lib published by ledger in order to create the tx and transmit it for signing to the nano. I can do that if necessary, but I want to know if there's a better way through one of their apps.

>> No.22034689

>>22033932
If you miss the snapshot when your coins are on an exchange that isn't supported, you lose.

However, if your coins are in your own wallet, then you have 6 months from the date of the snapshot to send the transaction linking your xrp address to your flare address.

I dislike Jed as much as the next guy, but he was one of the funding members, and has been fairly allocated his share. If you were in his shoes, you'd keep dumping as well. Just be happy that courts have intervened and kept his dumping to under 1% of the daily volume AND restricted to BitStamp's OTC desk only, which has no affect on the orderbook. It's not so bad, really. His sales make XRP even more decentralized with each dump.

>> No.22035438
