No incentive is the best incentive, anon. The only incentive that you need is that you want the network to operate. say you have 100 banks, and they all hate each other because they are greedy banks. All those greedy banks have a node. Guess what happens? None of them can break the rules on each other because if they try to, their node gets excluded and they no longer have a claim in the consensus process. Couple that with the fact that anyone can host a validator node and eventually work up to being included in the consensus mechanism by providing good data and you have a solid cryptographic system.

You do realize that this was all designed by a cryptographic expert, right?

Kills how? By being the best, technically? By having partnerships with banks?
Link is in the open source, linux flavor camp while xrp tries to be the respectable, microsoft kind of platform for banks, except they are also a rag tag team of bandits (just like the rest of crypto) so it’s not credible. It pretends to be decentralized, as a technology, but it’s financial use case is targeted towards improving the operations of our most centralized institutions. Hypocrisy is not a valid objection to making money, but they are not making money, nor will they, due to the fact these centralized institutions are not about to moon xrp, because the token price for their operations is ultimately meaningless as long as it is stable. They will not “get rich” by pumping the price of xrp, and they are not about to randomly make you rich.
The only ones who are about to make you rich sit in the same boat, and have a working boat, so btc, link and maaaaybe eth (though that boat is leaking).

>By being the best, technically?

Yes its going to kill them by being a technical masterpiece. The fact that they are onboarding banks and financial institutions is just a reflection of that fact. The reason the banks are adopting it is because they have to. Why? Because if they stick with SWIFT and someone uses XRP, they go out of business because they'll have such an advantage. The same way that if someone sticks with ethereum instead of flare that they'll go out of business.

Its going to a high price because its going to soak up all the wealth, all the money. It needs to be in order to move around the derivatives market.

This is your chance to get in on the ground floor of the greatest wealth transfer in human history. You do you man, I'm already all in and I know what I hold.

The funny thing is that vitalik buterin literally slept on ripples couch in 2014 when they started to work on codius, the precursor to flare, and that's how he got the idea for ethereum. They were working on smart contracts and how oracles ought to be implemented for 6 years.

Think about that, instead of rushing out a shitty product in a year like ethereum did, they took 6 years. You can only imagine the difference in quality, at least until it releases in Q4.

No, they don't. Anyone can run a validator node to participate in the consensus process. Banks run validator nodes, universities, individuals. You just got to run a validator long enough and tell the truth long enough to be included. if you don't tell the truth, you get excluded. Its as simple as that.

>fucking pajeet over here calling his $100 shitcoin trading "make a deal"

nice low level thinking you got there, bud.

This is about tokenizing all assets. You need to be able to buy a house in 4 seconds and get people working on it ASAP and get it flipped in a week. That is where this is going, and its not happening with ethereum.

>L1 literally cannot scale to hundreds of billions of tx

oh thats cool, XRP base layer can so I guess ethereum is irrelevant.

>since 2016 the plan has been to achieve infinite scaling through sidechains, proofs, PoS and sharding

The plan is only that since ethereum is a rushed dogshit spaghetti code network with a garbage foundation. You can't build longterm on a shit foundation.
