Being in AMD alone would also be fine. TSM's fundamentals are really strong, I'd just suggest reading a bit of news about them. They have a lot of successful customers (like Apple) and as the industry continues to grow TSM is ready to reap the gains. I think they're the forefront of their niche at least.
Not sure when's best to buy but I think they're poised to have steady growth from here if you hold for a while.
