95% are scam and the scammers will pull the rug right in front of you. Wait 3 to 4 weeks. If it rallies away you have a 80% chance that it will correct so you can safely enter on the pullback and keep your balance. If you want to be the first of the first you have 95% chance op failure and go broke.

I bought a new listing the second it got posted and couldn't swap back due to insufficient liquidity even though various sites had the liquidity at $30k

How do the pajeets do this?

OP is giving you all valuable knowledge. Learn to tame your FOMO and you will start making a lot of money in lowcap projects. Don't get swayed by all the 'OMG IT'S MOONING' posts here in /biz/.

What should I be looking for? Aside from mint function

It took me all of 24 hours of being in crypto to learn this. If a project I didn't get in at a good price is legit and moons, congrats to the guys that did. I have no desire to chase FOMO and lose money.

Locked liquidity, can they mint more than the total supply, can you also sell the token?

But sir, I need to 2x my money. Obviously bomr, coom, Bart, waif, tendies, will make me a millionaire if I swing my entire stack into it.

I know these are scams but no one else does ;^) that's why I'll pull out before they can.

Good for you. There are a lot of zoomers recently that get burned in what seem to be 'legit' (keyword: seem) projects because they saw some threads here hyping it up, and then saw it pumping hard in uniswap / dextools. When the inevitable correction kicks in, such as people who were earlier than them inevitably dump at ATH, they get left bag holding and become salty as fuck. I've seen this happen in STA, FLOW, XRT, BUIDL, and now recently, ORBI.

How do I track my uniswap gains for taxation?

>> No.21798695

>>21798499
It just seems like common sense to me to not invest in a project that is all hype and no use case. Maybe I'm just too conservative of an investor but the chance to get burned on uniswap shit just seems not worth it, when I can invest in strong projects and see consistent gains over the long term.

I'm not disagreeing with you, just agreeing with OP that these faggots should learn to fucking wait. I hate the hype and moon chasing posters so much. It's destroying /biz/, and there needs to be more informative posts like OP's instead of just straight up shitting on a coin.

I agree. I think, eventually, as the market matures we will see less of them. Right now crypto is still in the wild west days. In this next decade we are going to see the market become more regulated like the stock market and everything will be more tame. Which is why the smart money is in projects that will still be important in 10 years time.
