It can. Bitcoin goes past 20k then crypto speculative mania sets in. XRP has a utility fork that will dropping soon (called SPARK) that will enable XRP to be wrapped (FXRP) so it can be used on a smart contract platform called flare. People will buy XRP just to get SPARK tokens in the snapshot. Then, if they want FXRP they have to stake XRP to get it, making it more scarce and increasing price. If BTC goes to 100k I don't see why XRP can't be dragged upwards to $12-$20.

At the end of the day there are some very curious connections between XRP/Ripple, XLM/Stellar, the IMF, BOA and some big name investors that I absolutely refuse to ignore.
The same way big money spoke and moved about before the dotcom boom is the same thing I'm seeing now.
I'm not saying I believe in a great shakeup/global reset...BUT if one were to happen all the pieces are not only in place, but ready to go.
