You don't understand just how crypto works. The market is completely maniputed. cz bogs any time too many shorts or longs pile up. Remember he bought like 200k link for 1c and he probably owned millions before that. If enough people take out 75k longs then he will make 10x as much just selling 5% of his linkies, recouping the liquidation costs, and then buying them back at the lower price. The czinks now own link's price movements and it will only go up when it is profitable for them that it goes up.

>“There isn’t a formal partnership or any kind of agreement in place,” said Daniel Gabis, a Google spokesman.
i appreciate the hopium in a time of need, but Google has many formal partnerships with large companies that do not fill out a form (lol)
this is for companies that Google typically wouldn't have an open line to or be interested in that may have something to offer
with Chainlink, they're keeping an open line with them to gauge the need for decentralized oracles to see if it's something that their users would need for anything else besides bigquery for example
by saying they don't have an formal partnership or any agreement in place with chainlink, they're essentially letting everyone know that they're not directly affiliated with chainlink in any capacity (and implies that they currently have no desire to work with them directly)
that being said, Google isn't necessary right now for Chainlink to be the standard in the next 5-10 years, they just need to keep their heads down and keep working and if it's truly necessary for this world, then it'll all work out
if not, then it's not
right now though, i'm more concerned over the fact that price will be insanely manipulated with defi leveraged short/long positions being visible to all and now crazy leveraged futures being introduced, it always leads to manipulation and the only winners are whale traders

I'd agree, but Google's representative on this clearly stated that they are not formal partners nor do they have any sort of agreement in place
this very clearly means that Google is keeping an open mind to this sort of tech and would like to keep in contact, but don't want to be officially involved
this isn't bearish or bullish imo, it's super neutral which to me is good news because Google is known to only hop into things officially when they know for certain it will be profitable for them, and that's going to still be years down the line if it's going to be with Chainlink
i have no doubt in my mind that Google has some team working on their own version of to be ahead of the curve if there should ever be a boom in need for decentralized oracle services
right now there are many things incomplete with Chainlink which is good news, a lot of progress to be made and it will all be great
at worst, it'll at least be a project that stays in active development which is always good

Because Chainlink never applied via the partnership program.
What Google Cloud did with Chainlink was much more valuable than that.

>nor do they have any sort of agreement in place
What, like a contract?
lmao

This is what Google Cloud did before Chainlink ever publicly uttered a word on the matter:
1) Google Cloud ran a Chainlink testnet node
2) Google Cloud posted a deep dive on Chainlink+BigQuery
3) Google Cloud tweeted about it on their main Twitter handle

And only THEN did Chainlink even acknowledge this was even a thing.

i understand what happened, but i don't think you understand the relationship between chainlink and google (GCP)
it's one where they keep in touch, but it was integrated to give developers another tool when using bigquery (that's all)
are they possibly working together on something more right now? sure, it's likely since they still talk on a weekly/monthly basis according to sergey, but it's all speculation on all sides, including mine
i've always been bullish on link and will continue to be until there's a solid reason not to be, but what you're doing is putting hopium out there
which is totally fine, i do the same, but i acknowledge that it's pure speculation
don't ever get super attached to the point where you can't see the true picture, always try to look at it from a few steps back as someone who doesn't want something like this to be huge
i don't discredit it at all, quite the opposite, but i don't blow it out of proportion either
hopium isn't good for anyone
well except for twitter so people FOMO in like they have been since hopium is being shilled by the boatload by the largest chainlink bull accounts, which i guess is good but natural growth in the long-term (at least 3-5 more years from now) is what i'm in it for

oh ffs dude it's the same dude that made the blog post offering chainlink as a tool for GCP users
all he's doing is updating it for more use cases to make available for their users
please guys please you're starting to drive me mad, chainlink has so many amazing partnerships and you're focusing on this integration? nobody's using it there yet
it might be huge yes, but let's talk about literally the hundreds of partnerships where chainlink is securing an insane amount of $ for
this is more bullish than just saying look breadcrumbs by google guy, he works for google, it's a google thing, google is huge and its a huge google partnership
>google says they're not a formal partner
you guys: "because they're building a new earth with the use of chainlink so they don't even want to admit yet that they're partnered"
you guys are schizo or something
so many great things chainlink has done and u choose to ignore those and chase a nothingburger
please sell guys, you're all massive sell signals

sigh, anon, i don't wanna argue with you
in the end, you were smart enough to pick up link early as was i
thats where our similarities end clearly, so im just going to drop it because you're not able to understand what i'm trying to say
i'm insanely bullish on chainlink, always have been, more now than ever and it's because of things that actually use it every day to secure billions of $ at this point
we've made it, but you're still trying to push hopium
still, good luck with everything

my point was Google made a very clear statement
you took that statement and "read between the lines" because i guess you're a psychic and proceeded to tell people how this is huge and that not being formally partnered is insanely huge
guess you know better than what the google spokesperson said

This shit right here will be the biggest roadblock to $20+ for Link. If Link continues to its reputation of liquidating shorts, then we'll see another pump in the near future. As for now, I expect continued crabbing between $12 ~ $17 because of chinks and other big time whales manipulating the market.

I have never seen so much coordinated official FUD in all my fucking life.

The Bloomberg article written by an 80 IQ midwit SJW so you could interpret ANYTHING from it, Binance announcing 75X shorts, even fucking Coinbase finally pushes LINK news after two weeks from coindesk and it’s pic related.

We have to be close now. This is fucking insane.
