I'm just getting into this project rn anon. Basically it's still early days, but I think Proof of person is a genuinely interesting problem that has a lot of value. Not sure if Idena is necessarily the solution, but it's a really interesting attempt. Rather than just buying the coin you should install a node and learn about it, it's pretty interesting.

The coin fucking sucks, will never achieve mass adoption because the concept is retarded and too complex for most people and has made pitiful gains this year compared to essentially every other project out there. That’s the redpill

The whole idea behind Idena is to download the client from their website and get invited by a close friend. There's no need to buy it. You can accumulate 1k iDNA in a few months this way

>> No.21497176

Concept is cool but it relies entirely on human creativity and intuition. Plus validation bugs have killed half of the network on numerous occasions (flips not appearing, nodes not being synced, etc)

I’m perfectly aware of that. I was validated for months and Human status for a couple epochs. Flip quality is inverse with the number of users. It got worse and worse the more nodes there were.

True, I do believe that humans creating and solving/reporting each others' flips is too difficult for bots to handle. Unless we all start making numbered flips

I was about to say... I participated in it all for a few weeks. To me it seems like a decent short term investment vehicle purely because it’s a u IQ ur concept, but the devs are actually just fucking assholes and the project itself has digressed. They spew “muh network growth” in a hilarious manner and as a result no one takes them seriously lmao. I’ve got a FAT ducking bag of DNA and I’m gonna dump it on the shit losers who buy into projects without fully understanding the nuts and bolts loll

Literally my mom and grandparents are doing flips and participate in validation. Biz is going to miss out because they underestimate normies AGAIN
By far the most intuitive UI and UX of any blockchain that requires 0 technical knowledge
If you somehow can’t wrap your head around flips, you are the retarded one who has an elitist complex
For OP — this is:
1. The most decentralized chain in history
2. The only proof-of-human that doesn’t require privacy breaches. Focuses on human consciousness and contextual intellect
3. Has almost as many nodes as the biggest chains in the world. Btc has 10k nodes, this has 3k nodes
The human aspect is one of the unsolved questions of the blockchain because we had other things to worry about, like setup the fundamental architecture and ground floor. Now, we need actual human interactions and the likes of Idena and Kleros bring this to the table from completely different angles
I’m not even talking about that Idena actually answers the oracle problem with a decentralized network of oracles unlike chainstink centralized KYC nodes

Then the AI-resistant aspect fails because machine learning can easily identify “1, 2, 3, 4” or other images in an identifiable sequence

>> No.21498242

>>21497926
Yes, that's what I meant. I do believe right now the users are the biggest threat to this project, devs will deliver. Hopefully as time grows, more members will learn how to create good flips.

>> No.21498419

>>21498242
I’m telling you, # of users directly inverses flip quality. Relying on human intelligence for nodes sounds like a recipe for disaster, most people are fucking retarded. Not to mention the testnet bugs (a lot of which are caused by scaling just a couple thousand users) and that scaling past 8k users will require sharding, a meme that hasn’t even been fully achieved in crypto.

>> No.21498812

>>21498419
You’re telling everyone wrong then. You can look on the chain and see the validations and epochs, which show how many flips have been created, how many achieved strong consensus, weak consensus and were reported. The % of good flips increases every time you imbecile
Most people aren’t fucking retarded, you are for looking opportunity straight in its face and missing the forrest for the trees
Stay poor. I hope this aggressive message will keep you away from Idena for good so you kys when it moons. Oh wait, it just did +200% already in the last 2 weeks. Maybe you should buy that rope now
