Serious discussion only:

Gas fees are getting redonculous.
Ethereum 2.0 is years away.
It's time is limited.

If you were making an informed decision right now, what would you bet on next?
And don't give me any meme/hype/shitcoins.

Loopring will save Ethereum.

Once the wallets start integrating it (Metamask, etc.) and they create a Uniswap-type exchange, almost all traffic will go onto Loopring.

Get on Loopring. You will not only be saving yourself money, but you'll be ensuring that Ethereum stays ahead of its competitors.

Sure! You just have to enable transferring oh and also btw your crypto can be easily blacklisted so it’s not really a permissionless decentralized system. It puts centralized-like powers into blockchain. Fuck that shit, it goes entirely against cypherpunk principles

None of these other chains (Algo, Tezos, Cosmos etc.) have anywhere near the number of dapps that ETH has. They may function okay now, but until they are actually pressure tested with the actual weight of what ETH is facing right now, no one really knows and it's all hypothetical. And none of these projects want to launch on chains beside ETH because they haven't been pressure tested to the extent ETH has. ETH has been around for years, survived, and will continue to survive. Gas prices will be fixed through EIP1559 and other scaling solutions they are working on

Ethereum has the most liquidity and the most shitcoins to gamble on. Its not getting replaced anytime soon and by soon I mean between now and the end of this bull cycle in late 2021. buy ETH, demand for it is only going to go up in the short term

t. Retard

Algorand is the coin with the most VC backing. Look at Union Square Ventures and their backing/investment in big companies like Twitter and Coinbase early on.

They've chosen Algorand, and Coinbase too have selected it as their next platform.

Somebody earlier said that you can get blacklisted on Algorand. Maybe that's true, Algorand isn't decentralised in the same way ETH is. But it is legally compliant just like all big companies in the US are. You can't have institutional investment and adoption without it

>> No.21457648

ETH will remain king of dApps imo. You’re better off working with it. Switcheo deploying tradehub to tackle the fee issue by settling on eth chain only, no fees trading. It’s out next week.

6/ So, to conclude, I think it is highly unlikely to see defi outside of ETH, and highly unlikely that another L1 will capture this market segment. Rollups and other L2 solutions have a much higher chance of expanding defi.

Look everyone, another retard that doesn't do any research. Flare is a scam. It is a 1:1 EXCHANGE. IT IS NOT A FUCKING FORK YOU HAVE TO SWAP YOUR XRP. READ THE FUCKING WEBSITE IT IS A SCAM TO TAKE YOUR XRP. FXRP WILL BE WORTHLESS. ITS CALLED FXRP WHICH IS SHORT FOR FUCK XRP.

I'd still be on ethereum because it was never meant to be used directly by users on the main chain. It was always meant to be a settlement layer for products that are built on top of it, specifically L2 solutions.
While these solutions exist and are already baller as fuck, like Loopring, the ethereum devs are spending an insane amount of effort for ETH 2.0 that will increase that scalability even further. The best bet for these issues is still ETH, just ETH 2.0. The network effect ethereum has with all the dApps built on it already is insane and has been compounding this year.
TL;DR: gas fees are fine if you're using L2, which is how you should be using a blockchain, and ETH 2.0 has been in development for years to improve scalability anyhow.

It is literally impossible to have both of the following:
1. Fork xrp and make a duplicate fxrp
2. Regulate the price to be swappable at 1:1 through arbitrage
This would either cut the price in half or double the market cap.
You can't just fork a chain and instantly double the market cap. If this was true why stop at just one fork? THINK. Did bch debut at the same price as btc? No. Not did bsv or any other fork. Also, the flare.ghost.io site is intentionally confusing and poorly written by a literal who that has not and never will have any connection to anyone at xrp/ripple. They call it a UTILITY FORK which is a deceiving name to convince idiots like you to swap xrp with their fxrp smart contract at a 1:1 trade. Have fun with this one...I mean its xrp so in the end nothing of value will be lost but ill still be sitting on my 10k pile laughing at all the fxrp bagholders. Kek.
