if you are talking about DCA into coins, its almost always better to catch dips instead of buying 100% of desired coin in one order.

if you are talking about diversification - too much is horrible in crypto. pick 4 max IMHO. if you are small capital at start, dont diversify at all, but also dont buy pajeets scams with no volume on some gook exchanges. dont even look at UNISWAP.

I entered crypto at the peak of the 2017 bull run, obviously held heavy bags that lost 90%+ over the years. Lost a lot, but learned a lot. I reentered crypto a few weeks ago and have made some decent profits. I cant help but feel I should lock in those profits, pay the taxes, and sit in cash - or mostly cash, maybe sell everything except suicide stacks worth of the projects I believe in?
I'm no genius but I just feel like even if I sell now and slowly average my way back in, I might have bigger stacks once I'm back in. Am I the only one legitimately thinking we might be going down? Seems like nobody kn the board is even blinking an eye. Do they just not have that much invested?

absolutely not, and I think this is the bubble just like ICO's and DAO were in 2017. there's no logical explanation other than scam manipulation and fake money printing. this is just another buzzword to take money out of people, and dump massively when time comes.

fuckin BAND protocol did a run from 19 cents to 18 bucks, made by some chinks, backed by a biggest chink scammer, they have zero world usage, basically trying to be a copycat of Chainlink, releasing staking for no fuckin reason, and pumping the price to the point of no return.

on this single example you could already tell that this shit is rigged to a maximum and waiting to pop. now here's the catch - 80% of people staked their coins, they literally can't get out fast enough.

this is literally China Hustle 2.0. locking supply and dumping, ICX on steroids

>> No.21318215

I just consider most of the crypto space to be a get rich quick scheme. There are very few projects I believe in.
DeFi is a bubble just like ICOs in 2017. Just look at YAMS and how much people are locking into it. It's been out for what, not even 24h? It's not been auditted. Yet people throw millions into it.
When's the bubble gonna pop? I don't know, but you'll see a field of pink wojacks.

This DeFi mania is overheated and even the people participating know that very well. Top might still be a bit away from here, but not too far. Once tx fees become literally unpayable the DeFi market will have to start to first stagnate and then ever increasingly deflate. Most of that fleeing value will be caught by ETH, simply because it is the first step out of a DeFi/Uniswap token. Some will go into other bigcaps.
Sorry, but LINK will have a pullback along with all the other DeFi tokens.

Project looking for a problem, not solving shit. Decentralize everything mania in crypto. I saw their website, looked at the team and their "mission", decentralize court is fuckin hilarious idea to me, and i didnt even bother reading up on it. Also it can be good for a quick scalp gain, like buying the local dips and trying to dump on Binance listing- but thats like a roulette.

About holding- if you are a pump chaser from chan, dont hold anything here overnight. meaning dont go to sleep, dont leave your PC until you close the trade.

If you are looking to trade, and I dont recommend futures aka leverage trading to anyone since this market is unregulated scam wick generator- i usually tried to close the trade same day for 7-20% gain, or cut my loses early but not panic on another wick. dropped trading after a while, and did like 12 swings last month to gain around 400 LINK and lose 40 in the process. its not for beginners, and trading in general is a topic for books or hundreds of hours of videos. basically 9 out of 10 people lose their whole balance in first 90 days of trading.

Buy the fear, capitulation, panic, despair - sell higher. Thats my most valueable strat.

Catalog filled with pink wojaks ? Then you go hunting.

Catalog filled with pump threads ? Sit on fuckin sideline, pretend you are buying right now in excel , and see what happens overnight.

essential to crypto and other markets is researching as much as you can BEFORE you put any money in, be on top of news, be on top of rumors etc. adjust your point of view on the go, and learn to think by yourself.

btw question for you : what do you see as the future of fake internet money? Like 10+ years from now do you think it will be forgotten or be well on its way to changing the world? I see it as on par with trains, the steam engine, electricity, the internet, etc. I give it about 12-20 years before some really shitty countries government gets totally blown the fuck out by their citizens largely choosing to transact in fake internet money over their horribly inflating fiat. That's the point at which fake internet money will massively accelerate into becoming real money and traditional finance will all shift over to on-chain versions that cant be fucked with by a moloch worshiping cabal of heebs and their faggot friends. Ppl in this space grossly underestimate the impact of a central authority (seriously) getting to spend the money first and stealing your purchasing power. Imo the inefficiency this creates in our financial system essentially means there are certain "nice things" we effectively cannot have until said inefficiency is thrown into the metaphorical gas chamber. Once we can transact and associate with one another on an entirely voluntary basis I genuinely believe this will solve tons of problems facing humanity at a currently unimaginable pace.

checked, i think 99% of crypto needs to stop existing before we make a huge leap forward. we need global regulations in the space so chinks and pajeets wont scam another human being ever again, market needs to be regulated, CZ and Arthur should face crime against humanity charges for scamming people on leverage trading- then we can move forward.
I think crypto wont be massively adopted for another 10+ years, and if this current state wild wild west unregulated 24/7 shit , PND scams happening and losing 90% value overnight will remain untouched > crypto is fuckin over and wont see any adoption.

it will be treated as casino, and used by criminals, degenerates and some renegades or tech nerds.

i had big hopes, but nothing is changing for good. we still have tokenization of everything which is just a ponzi game, controlled by whales, exploited by chinks and pajeets.

thats not a progress, thats regress of the vision and a failure of cryptography potential for humanity.

Nearest term I'm expecting some cross chain solution to crop up with one of the big eth competitors introducing a really easy to use interoperability bridge and that competitor gains adoption simply by acting as a spillover network for the time being. I've fomoed into practically all of the scaling solutions I am aware of and a few eth competitors for this reason desu.

lol I held this exact sentiment in January. Now I just think the slow bleed of 99% of this shit will continue for years.
>we need global regulations in the space so chinks and pajeets wont scam another human being ever again, market needs to be regulated
don't worry when I make it bigly enough I'm buying a private army and I'll regulate them myself :^) more practically speaking though I dunno how you're supposed to regulate some of this shit and my mental model of it is simply that the world will change dramatically and hopefully the good from this technology outweighs the bad.

not in current state and direction its heading imo. powerful technology turned into a ponzi scam printer controlled and manipulated by bad people.>>21322351 as long as whales and people like CZ have their hands on crypto, the purpose of it failed. its not decentralized, and its not fair game imo.

go to CMC, look at all of those people in team, read about the mission, check the tech, devils advocate in your head if this shit legit or scam, read more, check github if they are commiting code, read again.

For starters, research BTC/ETH, learn about cryptography, protocols involved, methods used to secure chains etc. dude theres so much shit for a hungry brain that its never ending.

if you are not techie, go take your money out of fuckin technology market, go invest in something that you can grasp after research. or buy some shit, flip it on ebay, or go learn some skills. life doesnt end on crypto, theres countless opportunities to make money in the world.

obviously, this isn't exactly what i was referring to though i don't know how to explain better. all of the current infrastructure that exists, not just corns that are listed on some gay exchange and have lost their value. the current infrastructure is fake and gay, we're only just starting to see decentralized exchanges that aren't complete aids.

yeah a guy who literally got famous by short-selling overvalued assets came to crypto, and now he put those horns on his head, and ramming head first the order book, buying all those dips and X100 leveraging long on Bitcoin. thats more likely. just like Warren would come to crypto and long this shit, because tech is great, and he realized after 50 years of shorting, that crypto opened his eyes, and he's mumu now.

im semi retired, because i will pursue different things, even if i dont make a killing, i can still do some work, or flip porcelain on ebay if i feel like it. or write an ebook on how to get a sixpack even if i dont have any.

im sharing my fuckin thoughts and time for free here, and there are many people coming into this space and on this board who i will hate to see losing.

even if im wrong , and crypto goes to new ATH tomorrow, and i didnt make a fortune on top of great gains - i still bring value while you are greentexing a whole paragraph which is literally fuckin undisputable.

Pay 1.46% purchasing fee and have to wait four days to send Link to my hardware wallet. Coinbase Pro has cheaper fees, 0.5%, but I have to send funds there up front and wait four days until I can place orders.
