LINK can be worth more than ETH because ETH isn't what gets the partnerships or brings value to certain markets.

Personally I hold ETH, XRP, LINK, IOTA, and XMR.

My metaphor that I frequently use is that ETH is like the tires/wheels on a car. LINK is the engine.
LINK needs ETH, but ETH doesn't really need LINK because it can be put with many other engines, which is the intent of ETH. ETH as a platform is fantastic, but it hasn't gone after specific markets to be applicable in. Its market is crypto.

ETH is undervalued though. It is going to be worth a lot more than a few hundred. It should be where BTC is today.

There's been a big influx of newfags to /biz/ in the past few months. Some of the oldfags left and a lot still lurk, but the FOMO was predicted long ago back when LINK first came out. Same thing as what happened with BTC and ETH. There are only about 1,500 wallets with 25k or more anyways, so odds are you're not going to come across too many users with more than 20K bags.
