21075185 No.21075185 [Reply] [Original]

I have a Reddit bot that can private message 10,000+ users per day, and knows exactly what they're interested in. It can also post in any thread. How can I make money with this? In some cases it could reach 50,000 users a day especially with further optimization.

>> No.21075248

I've only run it once as a test and it messaged 10,300 users in 6 hours and then Reddit banned that particular proxy. But I have thousands of proxies left. The test run got me thousands of replies back and +5000 views on my YouTube video I used to test it. I made no money because I just linked them my random youtube video.

Are there no rate limits/spam checks in place or have you bypassed that? Did tou make the bot on your own? Its easy to profit if you can target your audience just run different creatives and see what works. Adult CPA should definitely be on top of your list. Just make sure you learn to hide referreals if that works out and you intend to scale.

You can inbox people shit that other boys collects. For instance, I follow pedal_deals_bot on there and they collect all the deals on guitar gear. You can aggregate that and inbox people

>>21075456
Their rate limit is ridiculously high. Even abiding by it I was able to send 10,300 messages over 6 hours. I don't know what they're thinking. Yea I made it myself in NodeJS.

I can't since it's probably illegal. I'd only be able to sell copies of the bot under the table but it has no user interface yet meaning it's controlled by code-only so not really viable yet.

Whoa that sounds like it has potential. Thanks.
Yeah I'm willing to sell copies just not yet because it needs work for non-coders to be able to understand.

I'd buy a copy now if you can prove it works.

Is it really that easy? I have programmed spambots for other sites but never bothered with Reddit because I thought they would have strong anti-spam algorithms.

KEK. Thats such a funny mental image he goes downstairs and there's a bunch of /pol/ in dog cages with laptops.

Well I recommend it then because I'm finding their anti-spam measures quite pathetic. Especially if you use this Karma Bot to build up a bit of Karma first (some people say it helps, I can't confirm): https://github.com/MrPowerScripts/reddit-karma-farming-bot
It can gain you +10,000 karma in about 24 hours.

Thats interesting. I havent looked into it enough.I'd be surprised if someone isnt already abusing it though. I would suggest doing more research into it and see if anyone else has a DM bot for reddit. Bhw would be a good place to learn more. Do more tests, use your own domains, see if they ghost messages or start flagging you. Test, test and test.

Also assuming this was all of one account your reach could be massive if you scaled up. I'm willing to help you out with testing if you need someone. I've done lots of spamming in the past.

>> No.21076118

>>21075598
Thanks, also don't bother selling the bot you won't make too much and if it ends up outputting a lot of spam Reddit devs will start filtering it sooner or later.
You would be better off taking a slight legal risk and spamming yourself, specifically e-whoring. At my peak I was making $700 USD a day completely on auto-pilot.

not op, but can you explain further about spamming yourself to make money?

Not too much detail but just pretend to be a really hot girl that sells nudes and brainstorm until you can figure out a way to earn money without even having to talk to customers using various services.
Usually you can spam a website really hard for 1-3 months before the jannies get sick off your shit and will sit there all day trying to filter your spam with text-based filters, request-based filters, etc. and it's not fun to deal with.
Running it costs me $0 because I brainstormed really hard but most people would need to invest a small amount into proxies, VPS's, etc. in order to do the same.

>> No.21076800

I can't imagine anyone in their right mind replying to a spam bot. Why not have it solicit a service and "PM me for extra details ;)". It has to be a commodity that sells itself, since people will scrutinize

Kek I did it for 5 years on a top 5 dating site before they finally added phone verification and killed it. Tbf the site was dying already. It was good while it lasted :'(
