Meaning what? Under current law that distinction doesn't matter. It will matter if government rescinds section 230 liability protection for social media but we're not there yet. I posted before, i would like them to be forced to choose: keep liability protection but follow first amendment and existing speech law in moderating content OR lose liability protection and prune as desired. realize that earnings estimates are just the average of the various analysts that cover a stock. they dont represent the universe of shareholders. sometimes they'll land on a consensus number that is not aligned with the majority of shareholders, and hence the stock price will move differently regardless of a "beat" or "miss". also it's not all about earnings, revenue, users, growth, etc. all come into play, and they're all released with the earnings.
