both sides would upload the contract that was agreed upon ("I want to build a house, here is the blueprint and the given budget")
defense would show how they met all the criteria for the contract to be completed and fulfilled ("here's the pictures of all the completed housework with all the expense statements showing cost and work done")
offense would show evidence for incompleteness or incompetence of the constructor to complete the work, with shown examples and proof ("I showed in the blueprint it should have 4 windows but they only made 3, they used cheap paint that is already peeling, and they didn't do the electric up to code as there are no GFCI installed in the bathrooms")
funds would simply be held in escrow until work is completed (more likely it'll be less houses doing this, and more programs/software/images/videos to start)

By game theory, if they don't know anything about the case they're essentially voting 50/50 and won't gain anything from doing so, while the educated and competent jurors will vote with the majority each time and make both ETH and PNK as rewards for their work

E.g. I just had my injector replaced and the garage did not free the nut on top of the stud and just screwd in the stud... this blew out 500 miles later because you must screw into aluminum without a rotational load, then bring the load on by screwing the steel nut on the top of the bolt ( not screwing the bolt itself).
This kind of thing can not be resolved by photos or the non skilled.
I fear this case would have been awarded a win (because of a large amount of noise in the voting from people without knowlage, this will also make the most obvious outcome the most popular) to the garage by most normies. (its totally garages fault as bad engineering practice or knowledge).

just like in anything involving a real civil suit, you have to bring people that are more educated than you to present your case (if it's a big enough case to warrent paying for someone to do that for you)

right now for smaller courts votes are visible, with plans to make them hidden in the future for bigger cases. downside is doing this would probably require 2 transactions (and spending gas twice, so a few bucks each time)- once to cast the vote, and then later a second time to reveal the vote
possible way around this is when a vote it cast it says you voted either A or B, but doesn't say if A is yes/no or if B is yes/no (so it'd still be guessing if you don't read over the case properly)

right now jurors can't ask for extra evidence, but there's time to continue to upload evidence as you find it before the case is voted on
however if there's not enough evidence on either side it's possible to vote "abstain" and the case will default to not being sided with one or the other
