AMD has the server market locked up, probably for the next 5-10 years given Intel's failings, and given the overall proportion of Intel to AMD chips in the server market, that's at least 3-5 years of massive growth that's basically guaranteed provided AMD can keep their supplies up.

As far as desktops/laptops, we'll have to wait and see to see if other OEMs follow Apple in shifting to ARM. I don't know that it's a given, but it is a pretty big risk area. But the last time Apple switched instruction sets there were massive compatibility problems, and even if they can manage to translate x86 instructions to ARM, I'm not convinced others will be able to, which kills the prospect of them being adopted by enterprise. We'll see.

As far as GPU, NVidia's valuation is primarily from its work in machine learning/AI, not its actual GPUs. AMDs can compete, though not as well, but given time now that they have their CPU house in order maybe they'll change. Who knows?

I agree $80+ seems like a very high amount for AMD, but I can also see an upside of 50% in terms of overall market cap over the next 5 years just as they continue to eat away at Intel. Time will tell.
