look at the apy of 193+% on the first V2 pool that's not even fully fine tuned yet, look at the $100k price prediction from Michael Anderson, (massive chainlink and SNX whale). when the TVL hits $1 billion in august the price is going to go absolutely parabolic, meanwhile retards are yield farming yfvii: tactics for a few days return instead of buying this before it moons again

YFII was a clever fork that threatened a coup over the protocol. But a few galaxy brain plays later, YFI now has it in their pockets. To oversimplify the technical goings-on behind the surface, every brainlet chink that buys YFII now is directly transferring money to YFI's vaults and will be left with worthless bags when they draw out.

Obviously buy the original. YFII actually helps the OG YFI by increasing its TVL. YFII is worthless and essentially rewards people for putting their funds in YFIs protocol.

MTA market cap -> $600 million
YFI market cap -> $120 million

MTA has essentially already been declared a failure.

I wanna buy in more, but I don't want to sell more LINK or sell my bzrx yet. Got 1 YIFi atm. I'm gonna do some heavy research myself so I'll maybe be more comfy investing some of my LINK into YFI. Gotta make sure I understand where the yields are coming for and how YFI is supposed to appreciate in value. Might sell MTA bags for 0.3 YIF, but not sure. If it dips down I'll defi buy more.

The yields come from EVERYWHERE there are yields to get with idle funds that the code has been updated to see. That's the seed premise of the platform. It's automated yield farming, plus huge savings in gas fees. You deposit funds, they get thrown in a pool with everyone else's, and the algorithm finds where the best alpha in yield is and fills it. Simeon greedy with Link borrowing so the yield for Link is high on Aave? Bzzzt Aave loan strategy activated, alpha filled. Simeon got liquidated and you want to earn his liquidation bonus? Bzzzt liquidator activated, alpha filled. A ripoff of your platform is offering high yield to attract people over? Bzzzt YFII strategy activated, alpha filled.
This "smart liquidity" is compounded by credit delegation, which allows you to deposit assets other than stablecoins to engage in this process, and then with an integrated swap service that takes single-exposure liquidity. The YFI token is for deciding on what gets added to the code and collecting fees on deposits and withdrawals into that pool.
Of course, you're interacting with every possible point of failure in all of DeFi, so the risks are very high.

Same. As I understand it Yearn automatically finds you the best yield in liquidity pools? I don't know any of the tokenomics though and need to do some research. I'm LINK maximalist but I'm going to diversify like 10% of my gains into something soon and I've eyeballing LinkPool, YFI, and DMG. Everything else feels like trash. At the same time it feels wrong everything time I consider selling a piece of the God Protocol so Idk
