It goes likes this bro: traders wake up and have coffee. Some shoot heroin, other less snort coke, and others meth. So they get to the floor fuckin A jacked. None of this is their money so they don’t give a fuck bro, they just speed buy everything at any price.
An hour or so in the drugs start wearing off and they come to their senses. They’ve missed like 150 calls from their boss telling them to liquidate so their voice mail is full of threats and swearing and anger. So they panic, like addicts always do, and dump.
But later in the day shit calms down. Of course some spike back up close to the bell and shit goes crazy again, but that’s just the bell man.

Anybody else patiently waiting for OSTK to dip back under 65 to Buy in?

New to stocks, why does it look like I will try to buy a stock at a certain price, say 1.34, but the buy ends up going through at 1.50 and costs me more?

I’m trying to understand this buying thing. I saw one stock at like 7.34 and wanted to buy it, but I somehow ended up buying it for 9.50 each.
