A weekly minimum wage salary historically is 1/10 oz per day, all though the end of a collapse 1/10 oz could last you a week.
Assuming you position yourself to take advantage of a clean slated economy and an abundance of newly opened resources.

>100 oz for a poverty stack to survive long term <- assuming you have no skills
>500 oz upper middle class
>1000 oz the ultimate making it stack
>10000 oz nobility (aka high class neet for life) <- not even joking most kings have not had that much

That being said some silver is better than no silver if you can't stack to at least 100 oz learn some skills

It's a bank thing but since banks are government owned, it's kind of a partial ban of sorts, because the actual laws and ordiances aren't banning it outright. I imagine Hong Kong and overseas is still an option for any mainland Chinese investors but yeah, seems like any price increase will not being coming from China itself, will have to be from places like Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia. And I know that Southeast Asia has been in enough of a pickle that they have been selling instead.

Does anyone know anything about Bluestone Resources? I searched the archives and didn't find anything specifically mentioned about them here or anywhere else. Their break even point is like $500/oz gold and they are near production but it doesn't seem to have been piled into as much as some of its peers.
I am wondering if this is because its a sleeper or if something is off about this.

I'm not familiar with it but it seems like an exploration type company working in Guatamala and the investment thesis looks sound. The problem with explorers though is the fact that it's much more of a lottery than with royalty and producer mining companies and I am not a geologist or anything but it does seem a lot more riskier and harder to find new gold mining sites than to exploit existing ones that were unprofitable that are suddenly now profitable to mine from. That may be why it hasn't gotten any attention.

That being said, that doesn't mean it can't be a good investment. It's just an increase in risk that for me is an area I am not familiar with and I rather go with royalty and producer companies instead. If you put anything into it, I would advise to take a more nuanced and careful approach to it given what it is.

Spot and phys will decouple at that point, because of severe supply/demand imbalance as supply approaches infinity and demand craters due to people demanding liquidity of paper metals, or else dealers simply refuse to buy and wait for it to bounce back.

But this is all academic, because, institutional investors fucked up by getting caught and having to sell PMs in march. Make no mistake, many people on wall street know the score now (even if the media is controlled) and they're very quietly repositioning themselves such that they have sustainable PM hedges, and many of them physical and allocated. My point is this
You have 10,000 ounces of silver. It is revealed that its a shell game. There is no metal. What is your first reaction? You sell. Silver crashes hard. Silver could trade down to 0.01. Same goes for the Gold. You find out there is no metal. You have 1000 ounces. First reaction? Sell. Sell it all. This applies to every product. You could have misleading price action where gold or silver or even artisanal lavender beeswax trades down to $1 for the simple fact that its worthless. A print that low doesnt mean silver is only worth $1. A print that low means your paper silver in your hand is worth 3 figures.

The fact that people treat silver as the go-to safe asset when banks are teetering is heavy with historical irony. Silver money was once the symbol of monetary irresponsibility. But even as individuals have taken recent crises as reasons to stock up on silver coins and medallions, authorities would do well to consider the arguments for phasing out their use as another “barbarous relic”, the moniker Keynes gave to chattel slavery.

Already, by far the largest amount of money exists and is transacted in paper form — as bank deposits and central bank reserves. But even a little physical silver can cause a lot of damage to the economic system.

The existence of rounds — a bearer instrument with a zero interest rate — limits central banks’ ability to stimulate a depressed economy. The worry is that people will change their deposits for rounds if a central bank moves rates into negative territory. The Swiss, Danish and Swedish central banks, in a demographic culture of collapse, have pushed rates lower than many thought possible; but most policymakers still believe in an “effective” lower band not far below zero.

Why would your paper silver be worth anything? Isn't the paper silver what caused the shell game. I feel like it would be the other way around and paper would drop if it was found that no metal was backing it up and only physical would retain value...
I mean, if gold or silver ever dropped to $1 I would buy 10000 ounces and craft a solid gold toilet with a silver seat...

Yes. They use PSLV to do it, where there are a 1488 owners for each paper ounce. But so many people are now demanding delivery on the COMEX and lately the NYMEX, that they are going to have to back off and let the price keep going up. As we saw when it went from $19 to $24 almost instantaneously like literally in an instant like that one time Ryouko did that eye flutter hoofstomp. $30 silver is coming soon but not from the direction you think. They do these sudden paper-dumps to frighten people, and slow the process a little, but the drop is inevitable. When the COMEX finally does default trading will migrate to the NYMEX then back again before applying for refugee status in Cancun , PSLV will get delisted, and the investors will lose everything as they should for not listening to my sage advice

To assist with so many anons asking "Am I going to make it?"

I have devised the following formula. Keeping in mind this does not use the current 80-100 to one ratio of silver to gold right now, as that is historically insanely high compared to actual utility/scarcity/value of silver compared to gold.

S + 35(G)
S is the # of oz of silver you have, and G is the # of oz of gold you have.

if S + 35(G) =

>100 -> for a poverty stack to survive long term <- assuming you have no skills
>500 -> upper middle class
>1000 -> the ultimate making it stack
>10000 -> nobility (aka high class neet for life) <- not even joking most kings have not had that much

What is your strategy for quickly converting physical silver to gold? I'm trying to make a plan to do the same thing.

When the ratio gets that low, selling a portion of your stack might be more cash than your LCS has on hand. If they wire you or go by check, your bank will put a 3-5 day hodl on it which is a problem for doing a quick exchange.

Finally, in my head I fully expect my LCS to be sold out of gold when PMs are mooning. In other words I forsee a lot of ways in which I'd get stuck with a handful of fiat when I want to do the exchange.

Try to find a B&M that will do direct exchanges. If their inventory is drained it's not like you'll be able to swap it at all anyway. Call around to your local area and ask them if they'll swap silver for gold when the ratio gets better. You can negotiate with most people, dealers included, and the worst they can tell you is "no."

So you exchange real silver for fake?
Interesting strategy.
