Dxy is based mostly on the Euro and yen. It's not a good index, but it's widely followed and therefore relevant. Anyone who thinks Kuroda san will let the jpy appreciate much more is delusional. On top of that, eur strength will kill Germany's mercantilist economy and they will capitulate on more bailouts. Short term the short dollar trade might have legs, but medium term all fiat loses to PMs and crypto.
