USD approaching 2018 levels.
Not as bad as 2008 but I have a question.
What happened in April of 2018? I can’t remember. All I know is that trade war stuff happened but I’m not sure what timeframe. It had a pitfall ~a month prior and shot up in the end of April. The lows we see now are comparable to then with the rising tensions between the US and China. Apparently the US as a GDP debt ratio of ~105% whereas China has a GDP debt ratio of ~303%. The Yuan falls just as the dollar is doing right now and the Euro is going up and up. Everyone is throwing a fit about the US even though all markets are red. This is my first year trading so I’m not sure about what happens in the summer, let alone election year during the summer. Is this all FUD or is there legitimate concern beyond nobody wanting to buy the dollar and the FED’s incessant printing?

The duality of the government approach to it has been tiresome. The whole thing turned out like most people didn't want to legalize but boy Trudy boy was elected with that on his platform and he wanted to do it so they did. In exchange they made it extremely difficult for those grower businesses to turn a profit; can't advertise, have to jump through hoops in the supply chain nobody in any other sector, including alcohol/tobacco/firearms have to, need approval from health Canada to expand grow operations, health Canada also has its nose stuffed firmly in to the M&A process for everything.

It's shit and this is the reason I don't like to trade it anymore. It's like yeah it's legal and you can sell it but your road to profitability is the American Gladiators gauntlet without all the blue padding.

Whats your favorite Federal Reserve Bank™ item? For me, it's the United States Federal Reserve Note®. The best investment. I even ask for extra Stimulus® sauce packets and the staff is so friendly and more than willing to oblige. One time I asked Jerome Powell for Stimulus® sauce packets and they gave me three. I said, "Wow, three for free!" and the nice friendly Federal Reserve Bank™ worker laughed and said, "I'm going to call you 3-for-free!". Now the staff greets me with "hey it's 3-for-free!" and ALWAYS give me three packets. It's such a fun and cool atmosphere at my local Federal Reserve Bank™, I go there at least 3 times a week for investing advice and a large order of Quantitative Easing, 1-2 times for BRRRRRRRR on the weekend, and maybe once for after-hours when I'm in a rush but want a great pump that is affordable, fast, and can match my daily V-Shaped Recovery needs. I even dip my United States Federal Reserve Notes® in Federal Reserve Bank™ sauce, it's delicious! What a great bank.

I agree that penny stocks are very volatile. However, OPK is a solid company with a serious boost with their projected revenue. Signing contracts to sell their tests to professional sporting leagues is going to make this company move hard after they post earnings. Furthermore, larger investment funds will start positions into this after the price stays elevated for a few months. This stock is headed to $10

The sorrow just doesn't end.

>Still crabbing on stocks
>No where near getting rich
>Hope of escape is flickering
>Sibling keeps getting a more noticeable depressed look on his face
>My own advice backfired leading to him reducing his risk the next time the market opened....it was a dump day
>One of the holdings he was swinging....did well recently (don't believe that he reduced risk on that one but did sell for a small gain)
>Assuming it's price jumps tomorrow he could've doubled or more...likely making back a decent chunk of his loss
>I was the one sketched out by it and didn't recommend jumping back in...

It's the shackles of wageslavery for my family it seems. I won't be able to free them. I failed them. Even though I can walk out with a small gain, it's by no means retirement tier. As for my sibling his loss is likely in the thousands but he has significantly less saved up than me so it's a bigger hit in a way and makes my gains pointless. What is it to me to succeed if he should fail?

I just wanted to free us from wageslavery but I couldn't pull it off. The sorrow doesn't stop pulling at me, this pit of despair.

Was gonna post an edited Apu but didn't want it taken and used by others when it symbolizes my emotions. I wouldn't be able to look it if it were used in a funny context. So instead here is a broken down wojak.
