Does anyone know the specifics? I'm on a Ledger now and use Yoroi. However, Charles mentioned that Ledger may need a couple weeks for the software to get updated for the Cardano App and if we needed immediate access to our ADA, to restore our Ledger wallet on Daedalus. Obviously, I'm not doing that, so if I want to stake right away, is it required to send to Daedalus from Ledger now?

I don't know. if you do plan to stake from daedalus though it would be easy to just create a new wallet on daedalus and send to that from your ledger. you can do it now, in fact I probably would just to be sure. do you have a spare laptop to run the wallet software from? I always use a clean crypto-only computer for anything crypto.

Cute anon.. but Harmony, Fantom, and countless others have them NOW, with sharding and staking. I'm not sure what Cardano can bring to the table except more academic larping which translates to nothing but delays in the real world.

Explain to me how they will launch an as-yet-untested smart contract execution platform on mainnet with a language that noone knows yet and which is also based on Haskell, in one year.
Then explain why anyone will use it when there are countless other similar platforms based on languages people already have adopted already in production.

Then explain how >muh functional language contract language matters for Cardano when it didn't help EOS at all. Saying "because it is better" is subjective and based on opinion and we all know it doesn't matter in the real world.
