Just today MMM (3M), LH (LabCorp), OMC (Omnicom Group), ABG (Asbury Automotive Group) surpassed earnings estimates and they dumped almost 5%.

The most disgusting thing was MLM (Martin Marietta Inc.), which surpassed estimates, had better results compared to Q2 2019, is still down from March and still is cheaper than it was in Q2 2019 - yet it still lost nearly 7% in today's session.

Very few times have I made wrong calls on earnings results yet I still keep getting my money burned and I'm down 40% from season start.

I'm a dumb green line retard investor who started in April, my boss just called me up telling me about Kodak (it's my day off, but I also haven't been following the market this week at all).
He wanted to know how long it takes to set up an account and get funding to invest, and if he could give me money to invest for him, and what's a good mobile app, and so on.
I looked into the news, saw the chart, remembered all the hyped biomed vaccine companies ITT falling flat or even dipping after pumps, remembered missing out on WKHS but also missing out on the despair of overholding WKHS and buying too late...
So I called him back and said I thought the boat had been missed and didn't want him to lose money, but if he wants the stock he should make an account now anyways and just wait to buy it right after it next bottoms out, or set a recurring limit buy, or whatever, for a lower price.

Did I do the right thing or should I text him and say I'm in after all? I'd have to buy it tomorrow morning, then due to FTC stuff I might have to hold it over the weekend for all I know.
On the other hand I could convince him to wait and see if there's a bag dump of it Friday evening, and then just hold over the weekend and hope Monday morning it gets a second rise rather than the dump to end all dumps.

Is there any actual hope of timing this thing or am I in the right for restraining my boss from losing his money? He wouldn't blame me because he's a good guy but I don't want to play paper stocks with other peoples' money if I think I'm just burning it.

Now they can also just accept defeat and let the market crash, and take its turn naturally but the by Jew FEDS and daddy Trump won’t let that happen. These are the three scenarios.

1. Keep printing and devalue the entire stock market until the dollar hit rock bottom.

2. Let the markets crash soon, and let them take their turn naturally (Trump and FEDS will never accept this even though it’s possible)

3. Go to war to boost the stocks and dollar which is the most realistic scenario I believe.
