How many retail businesses do you actually know have gone bankrupt? It's really nothing because Trudeau has given away so much money to keep almost everyone afloat. Toronto itself is smoothly recovering, and we're moving into Stage 3 soon (indoor dining etc.). RioCan's top tenants are mostly groceries and banks as well, just a few duds (indoor dining and cineplex) but RioCan tries to avoid having being too exposed to a single tenant.

I'm incredibly bullish for the 1-year outlook. It's priced like Toronto just went through 2008 again with a shit ton of bankruptcies when the reality isn't as bad. Easy for me to hold brainlessly until end of year at least when it's still well above my cost basis. I'd like to cash in by boxing day (or Q1 2021 whenever that revival becomes apparent in earnings).
