Bitcoin was released in the same year that the latest tech was the iPhone 3GS. Explain to me how it doesn't get flipped.

because it's value is based on scarcity, like everything.
Bitcoin is defi gold.
All these nerds hoard it, many lost it (maybe 4 million), satoshi cornered a large chunk (1-2 million), even ethereumlocks it up.
What happens when someone goes to buy some and everyone is hoarding?
ETH is more impressive in performance but when it's fees go up, so does price.
Maybe market dynamics matter

welp, if that's gonna be your lifestyle, let's give you a maximum of 70 years of life, and that's being generous. That's 540 more months of life left (assuming you're 25). With most trash parks in my town, the average rent is $450 a month utilities included. That's $243,000 on it's own. Then you have to factor in a trailer. You can either pay around $3,000-$10,000 for a trailer and keep that the rest of the months you have available of life. That puts us at just around $253,000. Of course you have to factor in the alcohol, the methamphetamine, and any other expenditures you may encounter, however these vary way too much for an actual estimate. So let's just say you're gonna need roughly 834.4877630 ETH to live out your lifestyle.

good question maybe btc should be flipped

I think it hasn't becuase,

the distro is probally the best distro so far
the code base can bechhanged out to deal with issues while preserving the schema

it is paired with everything else

it has been proven more than anything else (eg eth did a roll back)

it i likely to avoid the scaling issues

good market depth relative to most other coins

everyone wants BTC.

I thought eth was going to flip it.....but then eth failed to scale ..... ala crypto kitties.

Always brightens my day to see people with higher IQ on /biz/. Ethereum's price is correlated with gas cost, if you see gas skyrocketing it's time to buy.

tether.
it will only be flipped if it DROPS harder than other coins.
I don't see it filpped in a bull market, unless tether and blockstream decide to switch support (highly unlikely).
