Talked to a classmate of mine when we were drinking, who I also knew had some money in crypto (we both study computer science).

Link was below $1 at that point. He said that "Yeah I've read a little bit about it, it's a promising project huh?". He had fell into diversifying meme and had absolute shitcoins in his portfolio that I cannot even remember

He still remembers that I have shitloads of Chainlink, but he does not seem bitter at all (or hides it very well). When Link went parabolic during the google pump and (after) he seemed really cool like just by-mentioning "Wow really cool stuff going on with Chainlink man, you lucky bastard", but does not seem to be obsessing etc.

There were only 3 people I shilled LINK to, both my parents and the only person I really considered a friend at my old job (we're still in contact and talk about anime and shit, prob go out drinking with him soon).

Shilled it to anyone I thought needed a second chance at life or could use the money, the only person to ever buy any was my dad at the top of the coinbase pump even though I warned him there was a very high chance it was going down.

Now I just don't say anything about it. If normies start talking to me about crypto I'll pretend I have the boomer mindset.

People calling me lucky for picking chainlink are the most obnoxious. There was no luck involved I browsed 4chan for 18hours a day 3 years straight. Endured every single piece of FUD that's been posted for 3 years including the ones I wrote myself. Then these fucking niggers have the gall to call me lucky for this? They don't have the mental fortitude to make the decisions I've made and their hands are strong enough to hold this tightly. The Norman's Envy has no sense of humility and I look forward to the day that I can spit on their graves due to the immortality granted to me via the wealth accumulated with link.

I really try to shill it to anyone I think will even consider buying I've told 3 people. One is a close friend who sadly developed schizophrenia a couple years back but loves the stock market and is super into finance. He was willing to listen but he thinks all crypto is a scam.

The second person I told is a friend of a friend but we hit it off because somehow crypto came into the conversation and he told me he owned 32 ETH for staking. I said "hey, nice man that'll be some decent passive income, but theres a huge problem right now with ETH, with all blockchains in general, they cant connect to real world data. I then proceeded to shill chainlink for a solid 20 minutes. And messaged him after the next day about it too. He doesnt particularly care and hasn't bought any.

The third person I told, knowing she wouldn't buy in a million years, was some tinder thot who wanted to learn about investing.

All in all 0/3 in my shill attempts, maybe it's me, or maybe some people just dont have the ability to see visionary projects in their infancy. Either way I'll continue to shill to anyone who is even remotely interested.

From what I can tell it's because nobody wants to take the risk. They see most of crypto as a scam and look at us the same way we would look at a Scentsy dealer because anytime someone wants to "make them money" they assume (rightfully so) that there's an ulterior motive behind it

Knowing this I've thought very seriously into just opening my own cryptocurrency consultation/investing firm and just putting everything into LINK whenever it dips. They won't take the free advice but charge them money and they won't get enough of your "wisdom" once they make their first 100%+ return that year by doing literally nothing at all

This sums up my feels too. People laughed about crypto, said it was going to zero, said it was a scam and a pyramid scheme. In some respects it was luck for me insofar as I wasn’t really on /biz/ and was barely on 4chan much in 2016/2017. I would go to /b occasionally or fap to webms or whatever. I was a borderline normje myself slowly getting red-pilled in a variety of ways from a variety of sources. But I got into crypto because one of my customers was insisting I do it. He was a libertarian bro and way into it. But he never had heard of link. He held a lot of ETH, XMR, and Civic (lol). I found link by browsing here and bought in on a whim back in 2017 for .25 cents per. I’ve told two friends about it who made some money following the Coinbase and google booms, but have since taken profits and gotten out. I try not to rub it in their faces too much. But everyone else deserves to be poor. Fuck all of them. Every time link moons I’ll post this pic to my social media accounts and people still don’t know what the fuck they’re missing out on. Let them wage cuck until they want to neck themselves. Every. Single. One.
