The answer is "it depends".
Ripple's had a lot of time to work on actual partnerships and use cases for the network, but doesn't mean anything if really big banks and governments decide to make their own product or reject the ripple network. The lawsuit failing could pump the price, but it could also go through and tank it. XRP was mentioned by name by the OCC report on banks being allowed to regulate crypto, but not without criticism of it. There's a lot of "what if's" keeping the price down in the last 2 years, but it could be a gem in the future. It already has more utility than bitcoin for quick transactions, remains centralized (i.e what SOME businesses actually want), and has no cultural connection to crime and buying drugs. I'm just a retard, but I'm planning on holding a small stack just to see where it goes.

Ripple started trading 7 years ago at 4600 SATS, it is 2100 Sats today. You lost half your Bitcoin holding ripple for seven years. You had a six month window to profit. XRP is the WORST performing coin in crypto. LTC and ETH are up in sats from where they starting trading tremendously.

At current price level its fairly low risk to hold, you are just missing out on gains you could be getting with other tokens. When I have more assets under management I'll buy back in but I sold to acoom eth and ghost
