So what's the play after precious metals, bros? I managed to accumulate SLV and RGLD before the insane gap ups started, but now I feel that small miners in particular will be out of reach soon in terms of remaining upside potential vs risk of huge dumps. RGLD is the one I'll keep buying since they have solid long-term fundamentals and aren't levered to gold/silver like miners (WPM and FNV also are like this, I just chose RGLD).

I was looking at other commodities, but they have their own cycles that may overshadow the +/- from inflation (though I did get some oil stocks). Tech stocks are overvalued, I'm not an expert in biomemes so I probably can't pick the good ones, boring industrials even at these P/E will probably dump more if the broader economy slows down, semis are probably solid but I already own a bunch... Anything else? Maybe it's unusual to get a play as obvious as PM's during moneyprinting but I'm out of clear sector ideas.

I've been in NRG for ~3 years now so I have no problem with waiting. I've done so much research on this stock. Both myself and everyone I've talked to thinks there is a huge opportunity here.

My initial shilling was poorly timed for sure, both for NRG and FCU (the uranium play). Soz to those who lost money but hey, at least there's another chance to make some now :)

why do you guys use treasury bonds

always seems like you buy treasuries from a country that can fail at any point
why don't you pay a little extra and buy precious metals? then when you dont get rich overnight you're still guaranteed to hold the metals intrinsic value in case of a collapse or apocalypse

do you realize you are now in the classic bagholder mentality?
don't buy into high-risk picks without a plan on when to cut losses unless you're confident and ok writing the entire thing off for some reason (high-risk speculative play).

You're only like 3% down right now, but you should really decide before Monday whether you will cut losses at 10% or 15% or whatever. Same thing if it goes up, decide when you will take profits OR at least where you will put stop losses if you want to ride the wave up if you expect it to rally for longer.

>> No.20671072

>>20670943
look there's no problem diversifying into your oil pick, but you'd be a fool to not also diversify into tech. If you really have no idea how to understand what tech companies are ahead of the game (e.g. Intel vs AMD, writing on the wall was already apparent for several years, Intel continues to stagnate and Jim Keller leaving it was really bullish for AMD although it sure took awhile to show the consequences) then just buy SOXX. Personally i don't like SOXX since i'd rather avoid exposing myself to AMD and NVDA with their ridiculous valuations. i dont wanna say the other pick since /smg/ already memes it so much but i'm heavy into that instead

>> No.20671076
