Seriously it's the HFT's the U.S. still allows brokerages to give our orders over to, isn't it? Even Canada's government doesn't allow this cucked nonsense which says a lot.

Also another example.
>put in order for 10 shares at $40
>doesn't appear in order book
>cancel and repeat
>it does appear sometimes but not always
>whenever it doesn't appear but ends up getting "filled", then the order book doesn't show any successful trades at the price i paid compared to when my order appears on the orderbook
>HFT's taking it and trying to scalp my position again, isn't it?

How the heck is this legal? How do I even get true direct access to the stock market, not some brokerage that ends up selling your info even when they claim they don't via semantics. Don't give me that nonsense that your particular brokerage doesn't do this. I've seen articles on the corruption these companies have, eg etrade selling your info illegal or when jpmorgan got caught manipulating silver futures

While I agree, when things break down these companies just re-buy new ones. And usually they're bought on contract too, so that the company saves money in the long run. This locks in gains for Intel.

I understand that AMD and TSMC are up and runners to Intel, but the reality is that those companies don't have the firepower to supply the whole world. Intel does. And with even more work-from-home culture, servers will probably be in increased supply and demand for a long, long time.

I think AMD is starting to encroach on the server market quite a bit - their offerings are not only faster but don't have inherent security flaws like Intel that (when patched) significantly reduce performance. The real space Intel has AMD is in the OEM prebuilt market. Intel has a ton of these manufacturers by the balls and all the desktops/all in ones ahipping out to businesses and corporations have Intel processors. AMD is starting to gain a following with some new laptop offerings through OEMs that kick ass but I'm sure it will be a few years before they truly capture that market space. AMD could easily be where Intel was at its peak in just another year or two however.

Simple TA strategy that can get you out at a reasonable spot without telling you to get out early on momentary dip is ichimoku cloud. Hide all the garbage that ichimoku has except two thing: baseline and conversion line. Use 1week candles. Sell when the conversion line crosses below and remains below baseline near end of week. Your actual signal on this isn't until the candle closes on Friday, at which point you would sell the following Monday.

It should look like pic related. White line is conversion line, red is baseline. Note that lines touching =/= lines having crosses. The ichimoku lines touching is neutral. It isn't max optimal but it's adequate and keeps you in for the bulk of the bullish trend. You may or may not want to protect at least a portion of your position with a trailing stop for redundancy safety.

Honestly might. The Microsoft/Apple trend lines have been completely broken, although both, Apple in particular, recover remarkably quickly after big drops. Apple had a low of 356 today, and closed at 370.

I think earnings next week are going to send more shockwaves through tech and drag us down until TQQQ hits 90 or the mid 80s again. I would be pretty shocked to see it go lower.

I'm averaged in at 109, so I'm hoping to see it above that level before the end of the year.

You don't lose money unless you're a paper hands faggit and sell.

NAK is a long-term speculative hold. It might go up 20% on Monday for all you know. Don't worry about it. All the mining insiders are still highly optimistic about it.

"@audiopile its going down for a few reasons imo. powerful short positions want to close out cheaper, some sell the news, some profit taking on 50c shares, and basically the chart says so as there are many traders here that use it. Not at all reflective of the FEIS report."

"@Glory I'm here til the cows come home. This is typical sell on news garbage IMO. Not phased at all. 3 years and a few more weeks or months won't kill me, even a year. This CEO did not sell one share at 20$ -remember that. He also turned away First Quantums offer as it wasn't good enough. I like to compare it to GBR, a less proven deposit which is 18$ range. Just my opinion but I like my chances. This is my biggest holding. Best to all. Enjoy the weekend, we can relax now that this bridge is crossed."

"@audiopile since there are so many traders in this stock you have to look at the chart every now and then. as this EIS was likely leaked news does not break the chart. Longs have nothing to fear, we have some gaps to fill (dont shoot me, they may not) and RSI needs a breather. sorry for the link to chart but i cant seem to upload here. https://charts.stocktwits.com/production/original_230610401.JPG+ it is my chart - i think we will pullback to 2.30 before any tutes start buying in. they are too smart to buy the news."

"@mackvorkian I must say that I am perplexed. I expected a spike. But @pangeon_Miner is probably right, as in the news was leaking last week. But so what? A cursory look at the news and it seemed good to me. No worries. The metal in the ground isn't going anywhere. Will the ROD give us a bump? It should."

https://ceo.ca/ndm?9e381726da39

I suggest you watch this video by the economist Dominic Frisby. He explains what the correct frame of mind is to have when investing in junior mining stocks.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_BD0ehlMLE

"After spending many years in Wall Street and after making and losing millions of dollars I want to tell you this: it never was my thinking that made the big money for me. It was always my sitting. Got that? My sitting tight!

“It is no trick at all to be right on the market,” he adds. “I’ve known many [traders] who were right at exactly the right time, and began buying or selling stocks when prices were at the very level that should show the greatest profit. And their experience invariably matched mine; that is, they made no real money out of it. [Traders] who can both be right and sit tight are uncommon. I found it one of the hardest things to learn. But it is only after a stock operator has firmly grasped this that he can make the big money.” -- Jesse Livermore

See also what Jim Rogers has to say about this. When you are down, the worst thing to do is to try to chase something else to "make up for it."

TSM is weird though, they sometimes suffer a bit from China tensions but in reality they have similar holding in both CCP and US so their geopolitics risk is not that scary. If anything, stronger tensions will push US to subsidize a bigger US plant with TSM to better protect the interests of US tech companies.

honestly the geopolitics risk is what put me off TSM until June. It was the report that they basically recovered instantly from losing Huawei as a customer that convinced me to finally buy into TSM in June. In reality, they're going to find someone who wants their shit because they basically have an oligopoly with Samsung on 7 nm and 5 nm shit.

dunno about AMD but TSM is still *relatively* undervalued relative to the rest of tech shit. This shit just crabs while the rest of tech dips. People are starting to realize TSM actually has great fundamentals and is practically a "safe haven" in a tiny tech bubble. You might lose -10% or -20% in the short-term but no one holding TSM right now will lose with a 3-year outlook.
Tech is the future and TSM wins no matter who wins in the end. AMD earnings on the 28th after close though. Still a bit spooky for TSM.

i mean even if you are trying to value trade (flawed thinking), TSM is still a great pick because its PE ratio is still under 25 despite the huge pumps since the start of July.

Guys, I have a play. The best play.

We need to gather sewer samples near the residences of high profile CEOs like Zuckerberg, Bezos, Gates, and politically charged figures like Trump, and Biden. Why? We're going to test these samples and see what type of medication they've been taking. Guaranteed they have secret COVID vaccines that they are provided by the secret elite - and then we will find out which company they might be from. Maybe their trash cans will have empty pill cases. We bet on those companies, and make out like bandits.

I'll do Bezos since I'm in Seattle. Who's doing Buffet?
