Link will probably be alright. We'll have a disruption of manufacturing but the slack will be picked up elsewhere, hopefully India to curb any regional power of what's left of China. Unfortunately I don't see China collapsing. Modern technology has given them an unprecedented level of control over their people, perhaps they will be able to wield forever. There is nothing the state is unwilling to do, and every year their capability to crush dissent grows.

That will be their own downfall. In 5 years all manufacturing will be done by robots, not humans. China's economic power came from having shitload of low wage laborers, and they will be completely useless, making China collapse under it's own weight.

I keep seeing this absolute brainlet tier response to discusion of war with china. Muh biggest trade partner etc. It won't be a destructive war but a toppling operation to overthrow the CCP with force and the rest of the world behind. India will do a lot of the ground fighting. U.S. will be mostly involved in air and naval combat. The end goal is to replace the CCP with a "democratic" government which will be a puppet government. It will no doubt be better than the oppressive CCP, but it is what it is.

Neither China nor the US is ready for war with each other. If it got so bad that war was inevitable, there would be time to prepare. In the mean time, if China brings a lot of usefulness out of Link, others will follow. Link will take a hit but will probably recover. I'd be more worried about the war than Link if it came to it. China has a fuckload of people. It would be a very dirty war.
