Open two or three browser windows to the same site.
Click the first window button four or five times (for a couple of hundred transactions) and start your timer.
Then immediately jump to another window and click that button once.
Click on the top transaction hash for the second window and watch it quickly show "success" (check the official testnet explorer too if you like).
Then jump back to the first window you hammered and see the top hash of your original clicks is still validating.

Since you still probably don't get it, let me explain. It's a FUCKING THROTTLE for transactions coming from the same address. And I think 5 per second **per user** is FUCKING PLENTY. Don't you??

Try to use arguments. ETH has active devs and is technically the better coin. ETH2.0 will introduce staking (which I'm not terribly excited about but hey it's something). BTC will always be nothing more than a store of value. However Bitcoin was the first, it started this whole thing and therefore IMO can't be flipped without some sort of paradigm shift that no one sees at this point.
