Okay, I'm going to spill some insider info. I'm a high level salesperson at a privately-owned govtech company that regularly competes against giants in this field (MSI, TYL).

TYL is going to be announcing that they've won a bid for the entire state of South Carolina to begin using their case management system Odyssey. The deal was finalized just before the quarter ended. They've also landed significant deals in the following states: Kansas, Virginia, Nevada, Texas (Dallas County), and DC.

Illinois will be going with MSI for an integrated law enforcement solution. They've also made gains in Massachusetts, California, and Missouri.

I'll get fired if I buy stock in either company, but this is news I personally know and/or have been told by colleagues at these companies. Enjoy.
