I'm ATNM-anon. Please make sure you understand why the company is going to be valued between $2-3 before you throw in money. The movement pre-Q4 data is going to be very PnD-y due to trader fags trading the ticker rather than the underlying. If you can see the bigger picture, you will do very well.

Also, be aware that the company has a certain autism against working with partners, which is why they funded the trials through offerings (since they want full control over Iomib-B when it gets approval). That's bullish or bearish depending on your point of view, I just think it's interesting. If you have questions I can do my best to answer them since i've been following for a while now.

Dear /biz/

The seas have been formidable and with the pullback of our crash in march we had trouble finding our way. Short interest and options premiums are low, many have given up spirits, and yet half of the crew has fell victim margin calls. Alas we see the promised land ahead and smooth sailing from here. We will be able to port within the next few weeks.

I look away from charts for a couple hours come back silver tacked on another percent. Geez! I anticipated a challenge of the 2016 high but it looks like it might try it TODAY. Boom and bust are part of the natural business cycle. The Fed POOMPED the markets to accelerate it into the next boom/bubble. These supercycles are every about 10 years. Fed intervention shortens that timeline because the only button they have is various forms of printing money.
After every bust, there are always people that claim "we fixed the problems and it will NEVER happen again". And it does.

Anon I don’t think that’s an it anymore. I don’t know how much primary and secondary schools can do it though, considering that school is the number 1 source of childcare, so parents need their children actually in school so they can go to work, and kids don’t have as much incentive to listen and learn when they’re alone in front of a screen.

But if what you’re saying is true... that’s a pretty goddamned good opportunity. A lot more interesting to me than EV.

Individuals commit the sunk cost fallacy when they continue a behavior or endeavor as a result of previously invested resources (time, money or effort). This fallacy, which is related to loss aversion and status quo bias, can also be viewed as bias resulting from an ongoing commitment.

For example, individuals sometimes order too much food and then over-eat just to “get their money’s worth”. Similarly, a person may have a $20 ticket to a concert and then drive for hours through a blizzard, just because she feels that she has to attend due to having made the initial investment. If the costs outweigh the benefits, the extra costs incurred (inconvenience, time or even money) are held in a different mental account than the one associated with the ticket transaction.

Research suggests that rats, mice and humans are all sensitive to sunk costs after they have made the decision to pursue a reward.

>Especially since the money faucet was left on since the GFC, and that led to an historically remarkable 10 year expansion.
Because the actual economy didn't really recover. We are seeing a hyperabridged version of what happened over the last 10 years. Pieces of paper, specifically tech paper, are considered more valuable assets than anything else including investing into companies for expansions.
With money printing, its a battle between asset classes: typically stocks, bonds, real estate, business investment, and commodities. One only dips if the others are that much more appealing. Bernanke trashed bonds and JPOW double downed on it immediately this time around. No one is sure what businesses to invest since there is an actual recession coming or already here. So its stocks, real estate, and commodities. You are seeing two of them boom now.
You really make money by transistioning between asset classes by accumulating ignored ones when the others are blazing. Bonds were in a 10 year bear market and were allowed 1 month of breathing room before they were forced into another one. That isn't good for actual economic health of anything. The bond market has been unrelentingly pissed since October of last year.

>euphoric
K so here's my feel on that. Two rules apply. Rule 1, you will never ever sell the precise peak so stop trying. Rule 2, let runners run until they prove to you, in whatever kinda ta way you prefer, that momentum has stalled. By sticking with these two rules you usually capture more of the move than you would if you sell early thinking you're going to get the perfect sell right before the tables turn. Taking partial profit on the way up is good strategy but always let a portion of the position ride until the chart or fa or whatever you use says it's time to cheese it completely out.
