Well honestly they've been "looking to set the release date" from the start of this year and yet they still haven't set it. I'm not blaming them tough - this just is the reality of complex software development but maybe they could manage expectations a little better. Don't say the dex is very close to being released if you know it'll still take up to 6 months of debugging edge cases, fixing bugs, and managing regression.

I will be very surprised if the dex is released within a month like they said. A month is nothing in the timespan of a complex multi-year project like this and one minor hiccup will ruin that estimate. Not to even mention if they're actually planning on integrating Raiden support before release. That's easily +6 months of implementation and testing from PoC swaps to the actual production ready implementation.

Looking ahead…Post launch DEX roadmap

Our post launch roadmap will have 3 stages. GAIA, PROMETHEUS, and HYDRA

GAIA (DEX launch) At launch HUB network will start small with some restrictions in place. This is for final testing and to ensure security. DEX HUB’s act as routers, it is not possible to steal funds even if only 1 HUB exists, funds remain in users wallet at all times.
PROMETHEUS Add multi hubs and expanding the network. Multi Hubs allow redundancy for uptime and greater liquidity
HYDRA Final phase is dubbed HYDRA. Network offloaded to XSN HYDRA nodes (nodes run on top of the Stakenet blockchain) for a global unstoppable network

All current XSN Masternodes will be upgraded to XSN HYDRA nodes during Stage 3
Next Milestones

Working with our aggregating partners to increase depth/liquidity + backend connections (to other exchanges, both decentral and centralized)
Raiden integration onto the DEX allows for Ethereum + all Ethereum tokens to be added to the DEX, for instant exchanging into BTC
Trezor/Ledger integration into the LW will allow trading on the DEX directly from your HW device. Trade with your keys safe and protected at all times

Great they're making progress, as they should. But my point is about the public release of the dex. They're only just starting to integrate Raiden.. it's going to be a while until it's production ready - not alpha, not beta, but public, bug free, and ready for mass adoption.
Stuff like this takes time and it's just dumb of them to claim the release will be in "more towards 1 month" when they're still in the proof-of-concept phase of a major feature.
