Corona cases near All Time Low
Corona deaths near All Time Low
So are they getting better at treating this virus, is it becoming less lethal, or something else?

It's burned through elder care facilities. Once that happens the low hanging fruit is gone and actually dying of it is an anomaly. Also, many of the symptomatic cases will be healthcare workers exposed to the high viral loads of care home residents and they, in turn, will pass it to family and friends who will have lower, less significant initial viral loads.

COVID-19 is out of low hanging fruit and will be unable to gain further traction unless we do something drastic like get it into some kids and start up the schools. That'll get it back into the homes by merging classrooms into single families and hopefully infect some grandparents so that the hysteria can ramp back up for "wave 2".

Shit is gay. It's just SARS 1 without airport shutdowns and some disinformation to fan the flames. It's nothing we can't actually manage and the reaction is overblown.

Youre not considering: spread is on par with zika (extremely contagious), mutation rates are rapid especially in populations around bats, and people can get reinfected if the virus changes or maybe even from the same one as we dont fully understand this one yet or why peoples lungs fill up and their brains waviness straightens out and strokes form

What scare me are the lasting health problems. No one knows what this shit is doing with your body. Maybe it increases your chance for lung cancer by 400%, maybe it makes your future children retarded, we don't know.

But what we know is that many people report they didn't recover their smell and taste senses months after having covid. There were cases of brain inflammations. Healthy, 40year old people report that they can't work anymore because they feel exhausted very fast, months after having a mild covid infection. It wouldn't surprise me if it is much worse than just a flu that can kill old people

I don't want to this chinese bio weapon in my body

This virus is too new and unresearched to take it lightly, I rather have an overblown reaction than a non reaction (florida)

>> No.20369544

I think people don't realize the reason cities were so fucked wasn't the virus itself but the sheer volume of viral load. It's why it's not spreading well elsewhere. People in places like NYC are in such close proximity they're being exposed to billions of more viruses a day vs a single exposure a suburb or rural person might get.

The reason I say this is because sweden success (or unsuccess) is based on a normality vs suppression through lockdowns, which mitigate the spread but will never stop it and sooner or later he shows up again (ny is also an example but just because they completely fucked up the response early on and the lockdown was irrelevant)

virus evolves to be less lethal
> why?
evolution.
+ weak people already dead, less ill ones to kill
+ more testing = more cases = plummeting deathrate

>take cold medicine

what cold medicine? im pretty sure i caught it back in january, i got over it with zinc tablets, hot herbal tea every hour or so, mucinex, and steamy showers. it was not fun being short of breath and out of air from just walking. never got tested because it was before the big panic wave but im pretty sure it was corona, the worst of it lasted like 2 weeks, after that i was mostly fine but just had sporadic bits of deep chest hacking white-green chunks for another week or so.

It finished off all the sickly people with extreme immune response that it was going to finish off. They also discovered a cheap drug which was clinically proven to reduce mortality by a third for people on ventilators (was found to work in the UK, not sure if they're using it in burger land now). Also more tests skewing things.

the virus doesnt float by itself its attached to dust or moisture droplets. n95s work. its the other cuck masks people wear made of cloth or the cheap paper surgical masks that dont do shit, because those dont create an airtight seal.

>stop wearing masks you selfish bigot, they dont work!
>wear the mask you white supremacist, or else we will fine you!

>we have to shut down everything and stay inside until the virus goes away!
>nooo Trump cant have campaign rallies they are spreading the virus!
>lets go out and stand shoulder to shoulder in crowds of hundreds or thousands and spraypaint "kill whitey" on national monuments, that is ok the medical experts approved it

this. and yes they have been faking deaths, hospitals put down "covid19" for any cause of death if the person tests postive for it. and in some cases they jsut mark it dodwn even without testing

Idk why you are saying this, data disagrees with that general view
sweden deaths per capita are still higher than usa, which means it has affected them more severely than the us
sweden cases per capita are also higher than...spain!

It's undeniable that
a) sweden has been one of the most affected countries in the world
b) things there are clearly slowing down

what you are saying, that there has been some crazy hotspots, relates much more with the capacity (or lack of thereof) of the health systems, something sweden has always been able to support.

Yes, they don't have the same issues ny or madrid had (which is an high density problem, which helps the virus to spread quicker to more people in a short time) but at a macro scale they are an example that the virus doesn't grow exponentially like many expected (and we still don't know why). Don't assume from my post im against lockdowns, im clearly not, they are effective and a great way to help the population to prepare, but both madrid and ny didn't solved their issues because of lockdowns, they were worthless. The spread was there and took its course.

>is still 5x smaller than the smallest particulates N95's are capable of filtering
You retarded monkey shit for brains, the hardest particles to filter by the N95 masks are not the smallest, but the ones in the middle size wise.
The smaller/bigger you go from the middle ground, which the mask is rated for anyway, the easier it is to filter a particle, I know it's not very intuitive for a mongoloid such as yourself, but maybe do 5 minutes of research before opening your mouth so you don't prove you're retarded in only one post.

the thing that most people don't get still is covid19 is not a pulmonary disease.

it's a sickness of the vein linings and kills with blood clots. since the lung is a giant sponge protecting your brain it gets obstructions which causes suffocating feeling when covid is active. but it does not obstruct the airways or anything.

which is why treating it with invasive over pressure respirators is mostly a death sentence.

and which is why so many unexplainable deaths involve healthy people. it can literally cause stroke and heart attack drop you on the street with no real symptoms. it can permanently damage your brains and kill neural pathways linked to sense of taste and smell permanently.

shit is scary af yet the world is full of loud idiots who pretend it's just a cold.

>they destroyed the economy
that's bollocks btw the global economy was perfectly due for a big recession sans covid anyhow. shit was going to be bad and will be worse no matter the virus. the underlying reasons have been brewing and festering since 2008.
