The issue mainly is the community.

A lot of the community has abandoned it for other projects once the main net launched. People really do believe the FUD.

The devs are generally second hand but are getting things done. I do believe they are trying their best and are working hard.

Ghost is a fork of Particl, which is a solid project with zero marketing. All the Ghost team has to do is focus on marketing (their strength) and maintain things and it should do fine.
