Myers-Briggs is one personality test of many. Each test has different measurement axes and different frequency distributions of results across the population. MB is popular on 4chan specifically and only because the most common results here happen to be the least common results in the normal population. The only thing that matters is at the end taking the test, it tells 4chan autists that they're the 1%. That's why 4chan likes it, because it tells them they're special.

There are innumerable other personality tests which break personality down along different axes, but either because of those different axes or because results are less granular (Like enneagrams which have 9(?) different categories instead of 16, etc), they don't tell 4chan autists that they're part of the 1%. These get ignored because they don't tell them they're special enough.

That's all there is to it. There is nothing uniquely accurate, scientific, or superior about the way MB breaks down personality. It just does it in a particular and granular-enough way that it makes chan autists feel like they're in an exclusive club.

It gives a lot of insight in how you think, feel, act as a person and relationships with other people too. INTJ's are non-biased with presented with information and can actually internalize new data that is found to be true, instead of just forgetting about it after a few days and reverting back to whatever preconceived bias they had prior due to emotional reasons.

I can guarantee if it told you your type was 15% of the general population you would think it was a shit test for retards, and I can guarantee there are ways to slice and dice human psychological complexity so as to give you a result like that. Day-to-day operations and personnel are generally what I concern myself with. I'd like to become an officer and lead at a high level during my career though.
