Just from thinking about it, its hard to imagine a scenario where 1 of your wallets get comprised and the rest don't.
Multiple wallets means multiple seed phrases, multiple seed phrase copies for the multiple wallets, and multiple locations for the multiple seed phrases, the problem just grows exponentially, and there's some risk involved with remembering all the locations and finding enough suitable locations. I've personally had a few scares forgetting locations of my assets, since I absolutely refuse to write it down anywhere.

Nope, I sold at 40 cents, then it insta mooned to 1 dollar (this was around feb 2019) so then I thought I'd buy the dip. And the rest is history. I spend a lot of my time browsing houses I would buy if I had held on a little longer which is a very toxic mentality but I can't help it. What really caused me to lose faith was when it was the radio silence from SWIFT during the 2018 SIBOS and my faith in the project (I bought during the ICO) started dwindling. I have a similar setup (multiple wallets + decoy wallet)

- If I'm ever robbed at gunpoint, or someone close to me held hostage by someone who knows about my crypto, I can always give them my decoy wallet

- If they suspect it's a decoy, or have a general idea how many digits my net worth should be (and thus won't be satisfied with like a couple of thousand bucks), giving up a fourth of my port in exchange for my life or of my loved ones sounds fair

- in case the computer I am using has a hack/malware that can steal my coins, I don't lose them all in one go. I'm pretty savvy with avoiding viruses/malware, and I know how effective a hardware wallet's sandbox environment is, but you never know with zero-day exploits, bugs/backdoors in actual hardware chips like heartbleed, etc.

- if someone ever traces my transactions, they won't have an idea of the full size of my port. And these might be the type of people to rob me at gunpoint/hold someone related to me hostage (as in my first point above).

Of course, these are all extreme scenarios, but it can't hurt to be prepared.

I also figured that a zero day exploit on a hardware wallet like ledger nanos would literally destroy all of crypto for several years, but maybe it makes sense to buy different wallets from different manufacturers
