I have a monthly budget. So I will budget $100 for crypto minimum and purchase at the beginning of the month. You don't borrow link, you buy it with a loan from putting up link as collateral. An example would be you put up 1k link as collateral, you borrow USDC against the link. Now you buy link using USDC. I'd be nervous knowing any small price drop would liquidate me, especially since you can't take a loan at 1:1. However, your loan's health is determined by the amount of collateral. Say you bought 500 link with the 1k link, you now have 1.5k link in collateral if you simply send it back to your collateral pool.
