20138677 No.20138677 [Reply] [Original]

It's been in 3rd place for trading volume for a week, only surpassed by BTC and ETH.
>currently outperforming Tether, LTC, DASH, and XRP
>half of ETH's trading volume (very good for a $20m mcap coin)
Buy pressure has quadrupled over the past 2 weeks, and 99% of the crypto industry still has no idea what potential this has.
Get your MNs in before Raiden integration goes public.

I’m no expert on Lightning and how it works but I got let in the beta at the weekend and for me everything worked fine. Only issue I had was at the start on what I was supposed to do with some channel rental thing but once they explained to me how it work it all made sense and I did probably 30-40 trades all without and issues or errors. Wallet looks nice and it works along with the DEX. If they support all coins and tokens in it then for me unless something goes drastically wrong I can’t see why I wouldn’t use it

>> No.20142874

In the test they said we had been trading against other exchanges and asked us to check Binance and Livecoin and we would see our trades in real time. I did a few to see if it was true and they all popped up instantly on exchange. I got no fucking idea how they did that so don’t ask but it was cool to see. If it works with every exchange then I can see that being a very big deal for some people as we didn’t have to give any details at all for the wallet not even an email so fuck knows how they did it but I like it

Buy BTC from Coinbase, send to Livecoin, buy XSN, send to Cloud for auto staking or download wallet and setup MN using that MNaaS service. I did exactly that route, as I didn’t have access to my laptop to download the wallet straight away so put it on the cloud for a few days then moved it across once wallet was ready. There is a good vid on YouTube to follow to setup, I managed to get mine going so if I can do it pretty much anyone can

For example, this article criticizes Lightning:

>But then…I started to hit some snags. I won money on online betting sites, but couldn’t withdraw the money because I needed incoming channels connecting to my node with money on the other side of the equation. I was like “what the fuck?”

Stakenet solved this by implementing a "Channel Rental Feature". You will just rent a channel that provides liquidity for you for a few cents

>Then I started trying to close some channels to get money back out of lightning. God what a hassle.

will be completly automated. Imagine having a switch next to your balance and moving it to the left puts e.g. 20% of your balance off-chain, moving it to the right puts it off-chain. Of course you'll have to give it a little wait for the work to be done in the background, but thats what it'll look like

>So I’d have to create a new lightning channel every month to pay my staff anyway, so I’d be doing onchain tx anyway

You'll just keep those channels open as they will allow you to send/receive via Lightning. Same for the staff. Yes, initially it's a on-chain transaction with on-chain fees, BUT after that one every following transaction will be instant, off-chain and with microfees

>But the staff don’t get paid enough to warrant $100 fees for each channel.

fees for opening a channel are around 20cents and depend HEAVILY on the blockchain used for that. I suggest paying via LTC or just using USDT. Stakenet will instantly swap it to whichever currency is wished for

>Plus what are they doing to do once I’ve paid them via LN? There’s no way I can expect them to run their own nodes.

Masternodes act as Lightning nodes. Stakenet connects the users to those nodes

I hope this clears your view anon. In case of Stakenet we're talking absolute next level here. More tech-savvy questions will be answered in Discord, the Team is very helpful
