>Introducing CurioInvest, where we invest with you and other investors, and together we buy luxury cars and equally share the profits and risks

/o/ here
this is a piece of shit scam coin
First of all there are next to no risks in the exotic/collectible car business because pratically all cars that have value and are worth collecting NEVER go down for any reason. And I'm not talking about depreciation for a disappointing high-status car such as a Lamborghini Gallardo or a Porsche Cayenne, I'm talking about cars that are worth investing in. The only risk is if you somehow overpaid for the car or didn't fully inspect it and checked its history

SOOOO, what that means is this Curio guy is so nice, he and his team will hunt for gems, negotiate, buy/insure the cars, fly them over to the Curio warehouse in Germany, spend money on maintenance, then resell the cars for a profit and share that profit with US!!!
WOW!!! What a nice guy, so kind of him!

Oh and as per their website, "most start-ups fail and when you invest money you're more likely to lose it all than make profit"

I don’t get this use case. Why only cars? Why not tokenize all assets? Do they have plans to expand at least? This seems too narrow at the moment.

They WILL tokenize all assets. The Ferrari F12 is just the first asset they are tokenizing.
Other luxurious collectibles next to supercars will follow in the future.

Explain it to me then. Explain how someone that is into the car hunting/collecting business would want to share profit from his hard work with me, a total stranger on the internet

>> No.20142227

>>20142140
Dude... the business model is tokenization of assets.
Before curio, if a person wanted to participate in the market of luxurious collectibles he had to buy the whole car worth >$1million, put it into his own garage, take care of the maintenance etc.
not everybody that is interested in using a Ferrari as an asset is also interested in taking care of it, as well as putting a full $1million into it.
there are thousands of people who just want to participate in the market to diversify their portfolio, which is a LOT easier by just buying the shares of the asset for the amount he is comfortable with.

also the team is paid in CUR, so they profit directly from CUR gaining in value. I'm guessing they will make a lot more than if they all chipped in with their own money and bought a Ferrari.

>not everybody that is interested in using a Ferrari as an asset is also interested in taking care of it

What do you mean take care of it? Just drive it to your garage, take the battery out (or connect it), fill the tank, and add gas stabilizer and then forget about it for 10 years. You don't need to "take care" of a car you're not driving and only keeping as an asset, what the fuck are you talking about here

This whole coin stinks. There is absolutely no demand to own a "virtual part" of a Ferrari

>> No.20142605

>>20142565
you would need to have a garage solely for this car that you can't use while letting it sit there.
how dumb are you actually, that you can't see the obvious benefits for the masses of buying shares vs having to buy a clumsy extremely expensive asset in one-piece.
stay poor if you want

>> No.20143161

Exotic car collecting/reselling is for car enthusiasts, which would be happy to wake up every morning and see that 250 GTO in their garage.

So if you're only in it for the money and will.never drive/own the car, forget about it. Besides, car value steadily rise but nothing spectacular, there are WAY more profitable markets out there

>tl;dr:
Curio is just another useless shitcoin but the theme here is "own a part a Ferrari dude! Cars are awesome and go VROOM VROOM!"

Forget about it? Because you say so? If I can buy a share of something, be it a company or a car, and I think it will make me money, why wouldn't I?

>> No.20143864

>>20143403
You can make money off this because afterall this is a crypto so it might X20 for no reason, but the value of the car will not x10, x5 or even x2 within a 10-years period. I'm debating the car aspect of the investment, not the crypto

Even if it does 20x for no reason, you can still very much get exit scammed, have your shit diluted, or have next to no volume to sell on.
While looking at potential profit is a thing, you have to asses risk. and there is nothing of value there, to the point where you'd be already buying into an inflated asset.

CUR can be converted to CURV, and you get rewards (Car tokens) by holding CURV and voting for investments, which is essentially money straight in your pocket when they make a sale. There is more value in this than 95% of crypto
