Will we ever see ETH at $1000k + again?

>> No.20120292

yes

No of course not.
It's the elephant in the room.

Ethereum is a dying shitcoin and people don't want to talk about it or admit whats going on.

Ethereum is written in spaghetti code and it cannot scale and it's still another four years away from staking. It's cumbersome and impractical to pay $2 in gas fees every time you want to buy a curry token on Uniswap. Not too mention that 5/10 times your transaction will get stuck pending and you chance the nonce manually to get it unstuck. Ethereum is total fucking garbage that barley works, it was never assembled together correctly in the first place.

Ethereum is a slow, broken shitcoin written in spaghetti code that can never scale and never will. It's only usecase is for minting / buying premined curry tokens and imaginary cats.

It already scales... Scaling was solved months ago with layer 2 solutions like loopring.

Once 2.0 is launched, ETH scales orders of magnitude on top of the many orders of magnitude layer 2s achieve.

Scaling is no longer a hindrance to crypto on the ETH ecosystem, even if 2.0 never arrives.

Only for buying and minting curry tokens. Major financial institutions will never be able to build on top of it and thats a fact. Ethereum is like Charles Babbage's Difference Engine. It works but it's completely redundant and unable to adapt or adjust.

ETH 2.0 is years away from launching and even then it will still be written in spaghetti code. Even then there will have to be significant trade offs such as only becoming 30% byzantine resistant. Not only that you will have three different Ethereum's all competing with themselves. Ethereum classic, Ethereum Classic Classic and Ethereum 2.0

I just love how normies get into crypto, watch a top 100 coin do something, "research" it (or more accurately, read well disguised advertisements) and just shill it, shill it, and shill it. They're so sure in their heads that they got the one, they're so smart, they literally can't go wrong. They go into the coin's telegram, they're finally, part of a community. Cult member status, achieved, herd mentality, activated. It's us or them. Their coin can't do wrong. It's a top tier dev team. Mainnet soon. Partnerships. THE TECH.

yea whys do people think its a useful investment rather than a useful tech?
people need simple automatic transacting. a setup where early adopters get rich somehow adds a humongous burden to a technology that could be accomplished without that extra expense.

I drank the Ethereum cool-aid for years, as a matter of cfaxt I could be considered an ETH maximalist.

Luckily woke up, started reading more about other projects and realized that ETH is so convoluted that they won't scale shit.

It won't be a surprise to me if this year's the price goes as low as $50 getting lower lows every year.

Yeah I didn't say >2018
Yeah I didn't say >2019

It would be better to say that I'm agreeing with him than rather than say that I'm repeating him. He's a very sharp guy who immediately comes across as having an exceptionally high IQ. In crypto wild west 90% of everything in the space is either a scam or is something that is going to fail. He's put a serious amount of work and time into Cardano. It's apple vibes. I think anon is just using him as an analogue. He’s not to the same height as Jobs, but he’s someone very passionate about revolutionizing his field and has been quite autistic about the project. We’ll see if it pays off, but it’s a good approach not seen in most other places in crypto.
