Statera Uniswap Pool:
A pool of STA and ETH, this pool existed from day one operating smoothly and securely. This is where the burn happens, it feeds the whole system and is fed by the system. When you pool your STA/ETH 50/50 here you “mint” a Uni-V2 token, which will be known as Delta Token.

Delta Uniswap Pool:
A pool of Delta(STA/ETH) and ETH. This is where the Balancer will buy and sell Delta from. To get Delta, this pool needs to pull from Statera pool, which burns STA.

PHOENIX FUND

A balancer pool of Delta/SNX/wETH/LINK/wBTC : 40/30/10/10/10. This weighting keeps STA at 20% in the pool (half of Delta) and puts a bigger bet on ETH. ETH is one of the highest volume assets in the space (giving our community more fees paid) and is the protocol that all of this is running on. Through Delta Token deflation is pegged to the index fund. Phoenix Fund needs to buy and sell Delta based on the fluctuation of the other tokens. Every time it trades Delta this ripples through Delta Pool to Statera Pool, where deflation safely happens on Uniswap, this deflation ripples back to Balancer, enabling ripples across the three pools.

TL;DR Yes, mint the Delta Uniswap Pool Token if you want to do the 5 token pool method toward the Phoenix Balancer Pool.
In the article however, it also describes one token pooling directly into the Phoenix Balancer Pool. Please note that pooling STA will negatively impact STA's price in the short term. Pooling ETH is the best token to use because it is associated with all pools of the Statera ecosystem.

Still trying to figure out best approach to this.
1. STA/ETH uniswap liquidity pool to mint delta token is weird - have to sell my STA for ETH, because I don´t want to buy another 10ETH just to level up difference. But there is A:dividends - how much?
B: I can add it to Phoenix fund - (0x59f....?) - it will burn more STA? Will I get BAL token for this like last time?
2. Just add liquidity to Phoenix directly. Team suggestion is to add 5 tokens at once (nobody is going to do this).
A.just wETH - when STA price is high (selling STA to ETH, pool ETH to phoenix, earn BAL, repeat)
B.Delta tokens - which is more complicated..

Just want to help to everyone involved in STA community and looking for the best option.

Still currently we're at a 1.4M marketcap... the balancer isn't overfed STA and ETH is worth 50% of the pool? should be easier to pump it than way before, but especially because Uniswap isn't a conventional exchange where every retard can set up giant sell and buy walls taking forever to clear out.

From GC:
Seeing a lot of questions of where's the burn or how does the burn happen. Burn happens in Statera Pool. Balancer buys Delta from Delta pool....Where does delta come from? Statera Pool, it's not like all the delta is in the world is all minted and we have a full supply of delta for the rest of our lives. The system has to mint and "unmint" delta constantly to feed the balancer, every time you mint and unmint...burn. Everytime you use STA to buy any of the ecosystem's tokens...burn. Anytime you sell anything for STA...burn. As the pool needs more delta to buy people NEED to mint it, it doesn't come out of thin air! The Delta Pool and Statera Pool will be constant targets for Arb bots (we've already seen them start arbing and we've been live for an hour!). Those arb bots may do the most burning of all, every time Balancer sells or buys delta they will react to that shift in supply and demand and cannibalize any spread that happens by doing what? minting Delta or unminting delta...what does that do? burn. We have already seen multiple transactions in the eco system that burn STA twice in one transaction! One arb buy and one person unminting Delta:

unminting

20083306

Your determination so far has been truly admirable, stautists. It's been more than a month now. Your resilience is nothing to laugh at, and I commend your dedication to keep holding despite all of the tumultuous events that occurred until now. Fredrick, Jordan, the agonizingly long crabbing week, and even a security breach worth 500k USD. You achieved what may be considered as a true miracle in a space where trust is the most important factor. What a beautiful pump. What a magnificent... DEAD CAT BOUNCE.

That's right. Statera will now officially begin to enter in its inevitable and permanent downtrend from now on, going straight back to below 0.005 USD in the next two weeks, tops. Let me remind you why. There's a plethora of reasons

>The balancer "hack" still left a sour taste among previous investors
>80% of those same previous holders, cleverly selling, at a loss still, will NEVER come back to properly support this community project
>A new breach within the "UniswapV2Pair.sol" and "transfer;tokenfunds" functions in the Phoenix Fund code haven't been solved despite several warnings by Uniswap developers regarding the deflationary nature of Statera being in conflict with the aforementioned functions
>The "new" whales who bought below 0.01 after the crash have acquired way bigger stacks than the previous whales and aren't planning on holding long term - imminent dump of massive proportions already in preparation as soon as the price will hit 0.03 USD, the new top

Consider the following: why aren't Scott and Abu willing to comply and listen to Uniswap's warnings? Do you really believe the balancer pool incident wasn't an inside job from someone who had deep knowledge of how the contracts worked? Why did they take so much time before communicating again? Why did BAL had to take the fall?
Because it was more or less an embezzlement of funds. Who stood to gain the most from pushing people to voluntarily put their money in the pool? Who advertised the Token? Hm.
SELL.

Hey guys this is just like STA, but we have XXX <------insert flashy marketing term

STA has FMA and FMA is everything in Crypto. Their head start along with going through a crisis has made them very strong and more determined. You have to understand human emotion and the feeling of over coming an obstacle. it's what made us conquer the earth. The STA team story is the underdog story of crypto right now. BAL is dragging their heels for sure, but we did at least get a DM from them re-affirming that they will reimburse. No timeframe given, just the proverbial "soon".

Europe is waking up soon, so buckle up. And quit selling ffs. Take little bits out along the way. Let's all enjoy the ride, and maybe we'll break out and test 5c...maybe even 8c again? We're all hoping. Or, instead of selling outright, add to the pools if you start getting an itchy trigger finger.

Remember, there's a wider user base out there now, and not just us. Hold, and let them keep on buying. Let's make this a team effort, and if we do it right, we can all recover some and not totally kill the price movement. Agreed?

Yes, the pool can route it through ETH or STA itself (pool uses ETH to buy STA to buy Delta or viceversa).

The burn happens on the uniswap transfers, while the pool arbitrages the Delta token value.

See this tx for an example. 1.5 ETH out for 34.5 Delta, routed through STA.

But as it “saps” it away it creates the spread I just posted about in main chat. So bots and smart money will move in to make “free money” playing the spread and providing more liquidity to the system, because they are getting paid to do so.

This is an example of a bot buys Statera, transfers Sta for delta, buys delta for a higher price than it bought it for and ends up with more ether than it started with.
This is the arbitrage that G C talks about, and it burns Statera TWICE. The market will constantly try to find the market price of delta as demand for it moves, and burn Statera in the process.

>How does having 2 pools affect this
2 places for STA to burn. The main pool STA/ETH is the majority of burning, while the delta pool Delta Token/ETH has secondary burning.
>We need people to continually put eth/STA into the uni swap pool right? What happens if the liquidity goes to shit there, or gets pulled from us
Growth is good yes, continually isn't a hard requirement for any coin, the liquidity will simply change over time. If all of the community members withdrew liquidity, the token would suffer, LIKE ANY OTHER TOKEN WOULD. It wouldn't die though, the original liquidity put in the Uniswap pool never left.
>What was that comment about the 'impermanent loss' of pooling on uniswap
It's an opportunity cost scenario. Read this:

TL;DR During crab market, pool your tokens and acquire fee revenue. During bull or bear market, have your tokens in your wallet and trade accordingly.

TL;DR Of that image:
>STA is proven to burn when Delta token makes movements
>Considering price and supply of Delta, there will be arbitrage opportunities for Phoenix pool, arb bots, as well as human traders
YOU can make money the following ways:
1. Trading STA. EZ, you're either bullish or bearish
2. Pooling on Uniswap. You get fees for providing STA/ETH or Delta Token/ETH. Fees will be affected in a positive manner by deflation.
3. Pooling in Phoenix pool. You get pool fees and BAL. Arbitrage is good for fees, indirect STA deflation is good for fees. Note: You only earn BAL on wETH, wBTC, SNX, and LINK.

I wish my spare ETH wasn't locked up in this coin so I could've bought MRDN like I was planning to. I'm just waiting for the post-balancer refund pump to see what direction this coin's going to head before I exit.

Does the new setup make CEX listings difficult since the token burns are reliant on LPs from two different places, UniSwap and Balancer?

Wondering if the devs covered this in TG or elsewhere.

CEX listing for STA would only burn tokens when transferring STA between exchange's and trader's wallets. The token can still be on a CEX though without issue. I'm not 100% on Delta Token on a CEX, but it wouldn't burn anything by being transferred between wallets, as it's reliant on its Uniswap pool for STA deflation.

Same here. Was just combing through the Balancer Labs Twitter feed and, predictably, it looks like they're dragging their feet with the reimbursements.
From their CEO this morning:

"No date set yet. Unfortunately it involves complicated accounting/legal procedures. But we'll keep everyone posted!"

what about this one?
for a token with a deflationary core of concept you would theoretically thing a constant uptick would be whats happening (a gradual one mind you). but what we see is every pump followed by an equal if not larger dump. Someone is using the deflationary nature to get fucking rich and its not you. People put money in, the price rises. Someone sells at the high price, taking your money and the gains from the burn and dropping the price overall.

That will happen as long as the price is somewhat predictable. We still need advertising and new exchanges to fuck up the swingers. These swingers were doing this prior to the hack, too, it is just the nature of a lowcap coin that resides almost exclusively on biz. Doesn't mean it can't change in a matter of minutes.

>>20098768
yes, my deflationary token will keep increasing in price. because that's clearly what keeps happening lately. just look before the POOL exploit, the recent pumps when news drops after the exploit. it's clearly gaining price thanks to the deflationary aspect. The chart is a giant red flag to external investors. It's just a /biz/ circle jerk coin and your only funneling your own money into the top holders wallets

Exactly my point. You are not holding, you are either trying to swing or you are just trying to hurt the project.

Swingers will always swing. Saying that is a sign to get out is retarded.
