People think things are already settled. That's crazy. We are so early. All the "development" in the space right now is basically proof of concept. That's it. Ethereum's "network effect" is basically alpha testing. All the "lending" in defi is just leverage for more speculation. Cardano's tech is coming at a good time. If they can push out Goguen quickly, then all of the experimental development will happen on Cardano as well and they have the better tech.

If not for the peer reviewed papers and all the citations, I would say you are correct. But I think they've just taken the academic route, which is very slow. I think you're a bit jaded by all the vaporware in the space, but I do think Cardano is going to surprise you. But for you, actions will be the only thing to sway. Just don't wait too late. Tune into the summit and see if it's worth your investment.
