yeah, this is the ultimate truth. i am glad that i at least was able to shed light for some anons who were willing to take a look at the results.

i'm still working on building out my shitty script, and taking some of the ideas in that thread
top requests mainly were "what other coins do LINK whales hold"
thats my current task, building out a more robust and automatic version to track this specifically.

but the tool is great in comparing whales among specific coins, albeit not perfect because of exchange wallets and whales using multiple wallets to obscure their LINK holdings from their shitcoin holdings

not fancy, but im just going to scrape the webpages for the top 1000-2000 wallets or so, then feed those into a csv file and just scan each address one by one, with a threshold of maybe $10,000 USD or so as a cutoff for noteworthy alt holdings

Got my webscraper up and working now, I can generate lists of any number of top wallets (top 1000, top 5000, top 10,000 etc) by simply scraping ethplorer, so i dont have to worry about hitting my API limit with getTopTokenHolders

going to spend most of tonight and the following days building out the next part which will allow me to compile top ERC alt holdings of top LINK wallets, probably going to do it with top 1k wallets first.

should be interesting to see what ERC alts my fellow linkies hold primarily. i of course will post the results on /biz/ when they are complete.

i havent tried it, to be completely honest i am much more comfortable with python than any other language and i've been wanting to push myself more to get better with it

im sure there are better or more efficient ways of going about what im trying to accomplish, such as setting up an ETH node myself instead of using python and interacting with public APIs and webpages for the whole project, but thats probably what i'll end up doing. this whole idea came about like 2 days ago and im pretty happy with what ive been able to accomplish so far

i get your point, but this idea can be expanded to any token, though i imagine /biz/ will primarily want it for LINK whale comparisons

but i do however think the data will be interesting to see the top 25 altcoins held by LINK whales
again, this project can be used for any tokens. so if you want to see what BNT whales hold, or what USDT whales also hold, it can do that

i dont, however, think that just because 5 rich LINK wallets hold PNK, that makes it 100% a good buy. however, if collectively, the top 1000 LINK wallets also hold $200m USD of SNX, maybe its a good buy.
