I was attacked by a “Crack-Child” as a kid. My friends brother, who was adopted from a broken home was black and attacked us with Knifes, he also hit me with a baseball bat. He later was institutionalized for years and given different medications in the mental hospital to supress his rage.

I grew up in a 99% white town, and my only interaction with Black people was, that kid, nearly killing me, and Black homeless people in the city.

Now that I’ve moved I’ve meet lots of Black coworkers that are great guys, and my friends. I just want us to all make it together as frens

Is acknowledging racial differences "racist"?

Saying a poodle is less likely to be aggressive than a pitbull is completely fine. I think being able to openly communicate racial differences in humans is as important as recognizing similarities.

In the end, the best shot we get at not feeding into the plan of segregation via hatred is mutual respect and understanding. Noone of us is born racist. Childhood experiences as OP stated, social environment or parental dogmas lead to certain views. These views can drastically change the outcome of a particular situation, which leads to a vicious circle.

No matter where you are from, no matter your gender or the number of genders or mental illnesses you possess, no matter of skin or descent - we are just GOY.
