this current exploit doesn't abuse deflationary glitches, it abuses the fact that COMP being deposited into the balancer pool makes the ratios all fucked. They used a flash loan to game the ratios and extract eth+comp from the pool. They can't really get much, but this guy just walked away with comp that was rightfully the people in the BAL pools. I think he got around 13 eth now

The argument is that the team basically had prior knowledge that an attack like this was possible and didn’t do a good job of letting people outside of their discord know. And as the other anon said, it’s probably coming out of their team holdings
